Author Topic: Remapping Controls for Episodes From Liberty City (PC) (Read 2215 times)

I purchased this game today through Steam and went in to remap my controls as I always do. (I don't like using ASWD for my movement controls among other things I usually remap.) So I made my changes to my movement key as well as various other keys. When I went to exit (esc) to the previous screen, I got this error:

"Warning A critical control is unmapped. Do you wish to exit control mapping? Changes made since your last save will be lost."

I am then given the option to press "Enter" to exit without saving or "escape" to go beck in to the control remapping window. I have check over and over to see that all the keys are assigned and they are. But the game will not allow me to save my changes and to back to the game. Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?

Sorry I don't know what your issue is but I did want to say,

Oh yeah, I forgot this game was releasing so soon! I need to go pick it up. (I like getting the box versions of GTA for the maps and stuff.)

Try just putting everything to default mapping and try remapping it? Not too sure on what could be the cause =x

I've narrowed it down to the fact that the "down arrow" button is originally mapped to something not displayed on the controls list. So I am not able to replace whatever that command is with another. Haven't figured out a solution to locate it yet.
