Hello,
Thank you for looking into this matter.

During my test session with Broin, we used the lowest lvl hacks from the hacker
tree, Logic Blast 1.0 and Logic Barrage 1.0, using the high lvl ones would take
a lot more time because we would have to regain health and IS, we might try it
again with the high lvl attacks today, all we need is one or 2 patchers.

Some more data:
After I CCRed our test results, I received a tell saying there was trouble in
Mara, there's always trouble in Mara ;)
I thought to myself, ok, this is a good chance to test the DE a bit more.
There were about 15 to 20 hostile players there, all of them were lvl 50, and about
80% were hackers, so I'm assuming they all had 400 viral Deflection. PvPing
without 400 deflection nowadays is just impossible, even most non hacker
characters have 400 viral deflection

1st try - no DE
Devastation Field, 7 players in range,
4 deflect, 3 in

2nd try - with DE
Devastation Field, 6 players in range,
1 deflect, 5 in

3rd try - with DE
Devastation Field, 6 players in range,
2 deflect, 4 in

4th try - with DE
Devastation Field, 8 players in range,
2 deflect, 6 in

5th try - no DE
Devastation Field, 6 players in range,
4 deflect, 2 in

6th try - no DE
Devastation Field, 5 players in range,
3 deflect, 2 in

7th try - no DE
Devastation Field, 5 players in range,
4 deflect, 1 in

8th try - with DE
Devastation Field, 4 players in range,
0 deflect, 4 in

9th try - with DE
Devastation Field, 3 players in range,
1 deflect, 2 in

10th try - with DE
Devastation Field, 6 players in range,
0 deflect, 6 in

Hope this data provides some more help, please let me know what more we can do
to help.
When I get home today, I will gather up a list of all the clothing articles that
we used during the Viral Transmission and Viral Deflection "stacking" so that
the Dev's may have a closer look at them and see if they are working properly.

Sincerely,
Desync

Hello Ricardo,

Thank you for bringing your findings to our attention. Did you notice any
difference in the effectiveness of different attacks? If so, which ones did you
try, and what were their levels of effectiveness?

Thanks again for contacting us. We appreciate your help!

Greetings,

Today after a PvP battle I noticed something strange, it seemed that somehow,
when I had Death Effect, I was able to deflect more hacks and hit more too.

Just a few minutes ago me and a fellow faction member, Broin, tested this out,
here are the results.

But first, just as a reminder, because it has already been CCRed, we have
reasons to believe that clothing stacks above the 400 cap, be it transmission or
deflection.

Here are the stats on both our characters:

Broin lvl 50 hacker
400 transmission + 80 pts from clothing, in theory, 480 pts transmission
400 Deflection + 95 pts from clothing, in theory, 495 pts Deflection

Desync lvl 50 hacker
400 transmission, 0 pts from clothing
400 deflection, 0 pts from clothing

****Test results:

-- without death effect
Broin 400(480) transmission
Vs
Desync 400 deflection
23 hacks in
17 hacks deflected

Desync 400 transmission
Vs
Broin 400(495) deflection
15 hacks in
35 hacks deflected

-- with death effect
Broin 400(480) transmission
Vs
Desync 340(DE) deflection
19 hacks in
23 hacks deflected

Desync 340(DE) transmission
Vs
Broin 400(495) deflection
27 hacks in
25 hacks deflected

--Conclusion
In my opinion, it seems that somehow clothing stacks above the 400 cap, maybe
not all the clothing articles, but some.
It is also my opinion, that somehow, Death Effect is not working correctly. A lvl
50 hacker with DE, has 340 transmissiona and deflection. A lvl 43 hacker has 344
(if I'm not mistaken) VD and VT, and we all know a lvl 43 hardly "touches" a lvl
50 hacker.
From testing, and from my PvP battle earlier, it seems to do the exact opposite.

I hope this is tested and if possible, I would appretiate some actual feedback,
instead of the usual scripted replies ;)

Sincerely,
Desync

W00t. Lets see how the fighting goes when they are lost becuase all they have done is fight with hacker. Although, chances are they will get pissed and leave the game with the rest of their friends.
