Has a date been settled? I'd like to request my PTO as soon as possible.

It turns out I'll be back in DC come November, and I'll have the wife in tow. Maybe she can meet some of the disembodied voices she's heard coming from my computer over the years.

FACT: On the digital payphones that have the credit card reader (also known as "Millennium Payphones") , the dial tone you hear when you pick one up is just a recording being played by the phone itself. The phone isn't technically "on" until you actually insert money.

This was done as a means to combat the various boxes used by the phreaking community.

I made a beige box in high school that I still have. I keep it in my backpack whenever I go out of town in case of an emergency. Amazingly enough it's never been questioned by the TSA.
