Maybe gone for a bit

just wanted to let everyone know that if im gone for the next few weeks, its because of hurricane dennis. i live in pensacola florida, which some may remember took the eye of hurricane ivan in september. the insurance company estimated that we had $110,000 worth of damage and we just began rebuilding a few months ago. well now we have hurricane dennis coming towards us with the exact same path as ivan, with windspeeds even faster. after ivan, i was without the internet for about 2 months, so i may be gone for quite a while if we take another direct hit as planned. just giving heads up because im not leaving mxo. thanks

a newspaper clipping i saw tried to debunk this and show a different path, it was altered slightly....they were saying not all the counties hit voted for bush and that it was coincidence, but that doesn't mean that the state didn't.

anyways about god being mad at florida, that can't be the reason...i mean, you guys have disney world down there and miami![/quote]

You forgot Jeanne, which was also a very bad storm. It intersected in the same spot with Charley and Francis...if you look right under that "upside down V" that Charley and Francis make, that's where I live. God, hurricanes suck. I feel your pain X :P

lol boom, we come to expect you to expose the truth. ivan was a bit more west than that, but never the less im in escambia county, and they still voted for bush. gotta love being in a military town.

well a mainstream paper or two did try to debunk it...so obviously someone in the inner circle felt it was important to debunk...

Good luck to all of the members in my crew, that are living in that area... Hope the damage isn't as bad this time around should it hit again.  Keep safe!

while you get a barrel of water or thirty through your front door, we just got changed from severe to extreme draught ... and it's tornado season. know how i know it's tornado season? when i start dreaming about tornados. then it's tornado season. no bonfires. no water. this sucks :(

jesus fucking CHRIST we have alot of floridians.... im in Miami, storm was pretty bad last night, we only got some of the shit AROUND the storm, nowhere near a direct hit but it took out a few blocks on the power grid here. i was driving around last night and half the goddamn street signals were taken out. i know last year really sucked for all of us. we didnt take a direct hit but believe me we took a shit every fucking time one of those storms was coming straight for miami, then at the last minute take some miracle turn and miss us by a hair, and we'd only catch the outer bands. stay safe all u floridians.
