We tossed around the idea a couple years ago to have some Furious Angel poker nights but it never really happened.
But, now, PokerStars just released Home Games! http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/home-games/
We can now literally manage a poker club! We can make tables, tournaments both cash and play money. There are leaderboards, stats, and other cool stuff.
I already made an FA Club, to join use the following:

What type of poker would we be playing? Would it be straight, stud, draw, or community?

I'm totally down for this! Just...don't expect me to play for money, I'd lose my computer and then I wouldn't be able to play SWTOR. >.>

We can create all the game types that PokerStars supports.
Tonight we are trying out a free NL Hold'em tournament that you can buyin to with just your initial play money chips.

We need to have Lits be the dealer like back in college. The dealer of the week would even wear a skimpy outfit. *Sigh*...how I miss the sexist days of college!

It's really good to see we have a lot of interest in this! I will be more careful about making tournaments and stuff since some people do want to keep the email alerts on.
I will also always keep the 5/10 'play money' ring game running for those who want to play a game without the hassle of scheduling a tourney with me. If I get some interest from the real money players we will get a real tourney together soon and I can setup a low stakes ring game table, .10/.25 maybe?

As I mentioned in TS, please try to plan these a week or so in advance and I'm sure many will be interested.

As I mentioned in TS, my main computer died and I was looking for something to do. There were people around but no one ended up putting down the games they were already playing.
I cannot usually reliably pick consistent nights/times. And there hasn't been much buzz about doing this (both real and fake monies) so I guess I'll just pick a time a week in advance and pray for the best.
