You're forgetting that The new GeForce 6800 isn't going to be nearly as good as the new ATI X800.

BTW if you have the spare cash then it is definately worth while getting a 256mb card rather than the 128mbs. Much better by a long shot.

Heh, save up 500 for one of the new behemoths...or 1000 if you want the new nVidia, which requires some insane wattage....

heh and i got 2 comps. Well, one ive had, but i havnt really unleashed it yet....

Some crappy sound card...saved me 80 bucks.
Modded into a replica of the white house....510 watt power supply, and a SHItload of fans.

This basically paralells melkor....tried using different parts.
Intel P4 3.0 ghz
Geforce FX 5950 256 MB
1 gb RAM
Same crappy sound card...saved me some bucks...
Modded into a scarab...saw it on pheaton.com and i decided to mod it like that. Same power supply, but about 3/4 the fans
Im thinking about getting some money to get the new GeForce 6800....it seems it will be better than ATI's card in the long run. Of course, Ill have to tap into my car money, but I really dont need anything more for my car....
And yes, I know im a spoiled, spoiled child.
