We may want to email him and then contact him on AIM and then if nothing works to a moderator, and if that doesn't work I would add him on the KOS list.

Our name originates from the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack. His posts have not been threatening. I'm guessing he got the name from the soundtrack and doesn't even know we exist.

well we shud still ask him to change his name for the purpose of preventing confusion on the forums.

I don't think that's really necessary. There are other ways of identifying those of our faction, like our sigs or our messaging protocol. It's not like we have a monopoly on the name. Unless this guy begins causing mass confusion about the name, I would say it wouldn't hurt to ignore this, for now.

i say we tie him up and brand him with hot matal.........then ask him if he was messing with our name.

I agree with Cat he's probably just gotten it from that song, i don't think he seems hostile or anything. only if he maybe causes a rucus with our name or does anyhitng to brandish the furious angels title, the we shud take action...as of now I can't see how doing something to make him change his name would do anything but harm. That wudn't be honor and respect that we'd be fighting for, atleast not in the right way.

I agree with Eclipse...Unless people start to think that he's a part of our faction, and he's really bringing shame to the name, we shouldn't worry about him.
If someone wants to let him know about us, maybe he'll change his name freely, but I don't think we should pressure him to do it.

Yeah, if anything serious happens I'm sure we'll take action, but for now I think we should leave it be

It's best to not create any unnecessary conflicts for now. If something happens it will be dealt with but for now we should just stay vigilant.

Don't you think that adding him to the KOS is a bit rash? I mean he's probably completely ingnorant as to our existance, just talk to him and ask him nicely to change his name because of the circumstances.

Yep, wrote a very nicely worded e-mail told him about us gave him the locked website, awaiting a reply.

Please just leave the guy alone. He's not causing any problems, so there was no point to contacting him about it. Send me his email address so I can personally apologize for causing him problems. In the future, do not make actions such as this on behalf of the clan before running it by me or a captain first. The only reason I say this is because I am the one who has to ultimately take responsibility for your actions.

i dont belive this guy is a threat, if he did take his name from our faction to cause trouble or confusion things would be showing up by now

Despite the fact of his ignorance that does not change the fact that there is significant evidence for further confusion. Awaiting for a problem to arise is no way to keep our esteemed image. We should take delicate measures now to have him change his alias, so that we can avoid further confusion altogether.
