Title: forum participation
Post by: likwidtek on May 15, 2004, 04:42:54 pm
hey guys.  I started a new thread in the MxO forums.  If we all could show a strong presence in the forums that would be great.

There are currently 2 active recruitment threads going on now.  Keep them on top!

True enough.  We need a strong presence, whether in the forums or in game.

Actually, I have a storyline element to that.  My character is a spy (been doing the bio for the past week) and he doesn't jack out.  There's quite a bit to it, and the concept is great.  I was using your transmission back out into the real world.  I'll make sure to ask next time.

I dont think new recruits will understand your roleplay.  To make it less confusing you think we could come up with another broadcast tag for you then?

I can refrain from using it, no problem.

Lol Asha. Even if that is true, it would be some good BS to cover up a mistake...lol

I think you'll enjoy the story, it's something I put some elbow grease into.

Lol, Asha..

Tbone, you should really get your sig fixed :)..

Good thing to 'be around', just to get noticed. I think we seperate from the other clans in the Desert of the Real. They are all caps or movie cliches. And then there are a few others big ones, like the illuminati.

We really do need to make sure to constantly bump our recruitment topics. So many new threads are made every day that within hours they get pushed to the second or third page. Most of those clans really don't hold any substance it seems, and that's where we really seperate from them. I really despise the uncreative twats who came up with the Fight Club clan..................It made me sick. That was such an awesome book and movie. Why couldn't they just call it something else?

Also, Asha. I dunno if you worked this out in ur bio somehow, which you probably did, but if you didn't jack out, doesn't that potentially mean you could become an agent at any moment and so we shouldn't talk to you?

I think he means he jacks in for long periods of time, rather than shorter periods like the rest of us Red Pills.  He is disconnected, out of his pod, but he's a "deep diver," so to speak, keeping a constant presence inside the Matrix.  Nice idea, if you ask me.  Great bio too, by the way.

Of course, it's complex.  The story will reveal more and more as we go along, but I've covered that end.  Hacking into a program (or human for this matter) can still occur while the program remains resident on the server.  In my case, I'm an ally to the Zionists because I've been made to see the truth, and am assigned to a crew and take orders from my captain.  All of this while remaining inside the farm.  Pretty spy-like if you ask me.

You can see the first two parts of my storyline here:

Even if you intend to be on our side, you are prone to agent takeover.

I'm not sure how to reply to these, as I'm not a true FA yet and I have no ship from which to signal.  I know some people just put their use name, but I think that's kind of cheesy.  I will if you want me to, I'd just rather not.

I believe it's been mentioned in another topic on our boards, do not respond as facup did ooc.  It's not supposed to be formatted that way, and kills the intruige.

i saw today the stupidest things being started clanwise. there is now a clan who referes to themselves as the clan who doesn't care! they have started a clan to simply go around dystroying and killing because they can. i believe it is people like this who kill games for us all.

They will die out, the entire community(that is, the community that will stay around to release) actually does care and wishes to further their character.  People like those you mentioned are present everywhere, but in a game such as this they will go away, because no one will pay money to do nothing.
