may I ask why Quantum and max were given the boot?

That would be a total of 32 members that have now been removed.  I sense some maintenance, research and decision making have been going on.

Inactivity and some other reasons for the boot I belive.  We now have 109 members.

Inactivity for over a month was what put all these people on the list.

well, that kinda seems fair... I'll see if its as fair if the hand of god comes around to point at me!

I guess these guys will be active again when the game starts, will you make them go through the test again?

No..Quantum and Max! That's sad. But they were inactive..though still both were Decerto.

Quantum was a real god fella.

*lights candle*

And one for Max.

*lights candle*

I hope they can be taken back again once in game and if active. And if they pass the test of course.

I didn't really know those other guys, since they really weren't active at all since joining, except for Triplex I guess.

And of course, I'm really happy I'm not on that list :).

This happens pretty much monthly. We're not interested in inactive members. Period.

Both I guess. Though if you're a lot on the forums, but never on TS, you'll get the boot too.

We look at the forums first. We then look at the list and see if there is anyone whom has been active via other means.

I guess it's fair. But did you warn them that they wee about to be booted due to inactivity first?

I do not think that Silas should have been booted. When he had receieved notification that he had been considered inactive he made a thread on the Electus crew saying that he had been busy getting started moving in college and getting settled with classes. I'm sure all of us would wish a couple weeks off to get started with getting into college.

I do thik these people should have been informed they were considered inactive and given like a week or so to really check their loyalty. For those of us who aren't in beta things are still going extremely slow....

.................
^???

Quantum huh? He used to be like the most active member......oh well.....at least I know I'll never be kicked......

All of those guys were kicked because they made no attept to reply to Tbone's message that he sent to them, whether that is via forums, pm, AIM or TS.  They did not use any and therefore were kicked.  Simple as that,  I don't know about them but I check my mail daily.  They are either not going to play the game anymore and can't be bothered with hastle, or went away for a long period of time without informing anyone.  It's really quite simple once you get down to it, just make sure someone knows whether you are here or not.

I don't see how someone can't take 5 minutes from one day out of an entire month just to pop on the forums or teamspeak and say hey.If they can't do that, how can they even play MxO when it comes out?

From my limited knowledge, MxO has been pushed back roughly half a year. Oro Silas DID make an attempt to contact Tbone - through the thread he made when he was told he was considered inactive! If everyone's inactive it could be that they're nto online alot, and therefore, logically, aren't checking their e-mail habitually.

All I'm saying is that it would have been more effective if these people were given notification that they were considered inactive and then a waiting period to see whether or not they really felt like being in this clan.

Boy I hope never to make that list, sorry I've been so scarce of late, moving into a new apartment but I'm checking in when I can :)

they know the rules of this clan and what happens if you dont let tbone know that your going to be gone with certain dates.  its as simple as that, if your innactive you know what happens, he had the choice to pop in and say that hes here, posting in your ship isn't such a great idea, cause with tbone's bad connection i doubt he checks anyone else's ships.  when things calm down and the puzzle comes back up again, he'll get his chance im sure, but for now, hes gone.
