Title: My apologies
Post by: Anonymous on September 30, 2004, 11:46:10 am: I would just like to take a moment and apologize to all those who actually looked at "The Love and Lies of Iluvatar." The concept came up while a bunch of us were joking around and Rom said how we should stay on topic rather than talk about the love and lies of Iluvatar. So I thought to myself, what a great idea for a soap-opera style roleplay. A chance for us to all have a shot at some cheesy drama and seriousness.

What actually happened was far from my original intentions and no fault of Rom's. Becuase the idea was created out of a joke and I failed to communicate my intentions for the thread, Rom could only assume that the thread itself was going to be a joke, and made the first episode accordingly. I'm not sure what sort of interest there is behind a soap-opera style roleplay, a serious one anyway. And I apologize for my lack of communication over what I wanted the original topic to be and hope I haven't tarnished the clans views of either Rom or myself. I will take full responsibility for the failure that was the inital topic, and if you guys are all interested in something like that, perhaps give it a shot again.

The thread was started in the roleplaying forum and turned into a joke, so I locked it. "Chronicles of the Furious Angels" is for roleplay only. No harm done!

Not so. Just some places are meant for jokes and some are not.

Also, some jokes are more appropriate than others.

As for this one, I didn't see anything wrong with it and it seems like much ado about nothing (keke) but it would be nice to keep the roleplay forum free from joke banter.
