I must have a complete lack of idea connection skills because I can't quite see how keeping your skills in your inventory would give you infinite information.....

Are you sure that works Gillette ?  I've put all of my abilities in my inventory (leveled up or not) and quit the game normally.  When I started the game again, only one of my abilities kept its level.  All the other ones were back to level 1.  Also, all my abilities were there in double now.

Anyway.  Just lost a crapload of info.

Yeah. It worked for me twice. Then I crashed of course. So I lost around a mil. Hehe.

Might be specific abilities? I dunno. I had all soldier/martial arts. I might try it later with others. See if there's a pattern.

Played with it a bit. Put your abilities into your inventory, then jack into a hardline, then jack out, then quit. I don't lose levels when I do that, I have lost levels and codes just putting in inventory and quitting.

I can't even make a character on the QA Server, every time I get finished making it and say accept it freaks out and I get disconnected

Ok Gillette.  I'll try that.

As you described, I used to put my abilities in my inventory and then quit.

Thanks.  It sucks to be level 10 and get your ass handed to you by a beginner mobster NPC.

I can't get that to work.

Here's what I'm doing.

1. I upgrade some abilities.
2. I go to the loading area.
3. I put all my abilities in my inventory, one at a time (using the "Move" button).
4. I go to Tabor Park.
5. I go to the loading area.
6. I quit the game
7. I start the game again.

After I do that, I see all my abilities, on the left side (in the abilities window) AND on the right (in my inventory).  They are all level one.  When I move my abilites from my inventory to the abilities list, I just have all of my abilities in double.  So what am I doing wrong here ?

Like you said, maybe it's just some specific abilities.  Which ones have you tested with ?
