Just to let you guys know... I stopped by my local GameStop store yesterday and they had just recieved their first shipment of the MXO preorder boxes.  I stopped by Best Buy, Electronics Botique, etc, etc.., and no one else had them.  The GameStop guy said their stores were going to be the first to get them.  So if you got a store by you and want a box got get em'

Well preorder gives you the three day early entry and the +10 hyperjump ability...  I say those three days of the clan getting solidified is worth it

See, I JUST went to Babbage's/Gamestop today and they didn't have it! Neither did anybody else.

Also, if I were to put in that pre-order CD, would I have to make a new person and re-install it and un-install it and all that crap? And why am I asking you guys? How would you know?

Beta will end before the game goes live.  If you want the 3 days before the game goes live you will need to preorder.  Preorder also gets you into Beta, but just because your in beta your not getting in 3 days early without the preorder.

i don't know about preorder BOXES... but i know i was able to preorder mine.. do i need a box? or do i just get a receipt and that's it??

( is a nub when dealing with preordering * this is the first game i have EVER preordered* )

You need the box, because the card inside has your directions and activation code.  There is no CD, people preordering will get the beta stuff the same way everyone else did.

Well i just got the receipt and they said come back for ur preorder info so i will but i dont care if i get into the beta again as preorder as long as i get the 3 days early and the hypeerjump

I got my email with the preorder key from eb today. Attatched it to my current forum account through https://members.warnerbros.com/web/account/login.jsp without any problems.

I preordered from Gamestop today. That was a mistake. AP told me Gamestop had theirs, while in fact, it was the opposite here. EB had the preorder in, but I've already given money to Gamestop! Arg!

Hip Hip Hoorah! I just got my preoder activation code from EBGames, too! I ordered online the first of August and they just emailed me the activation code and a link to the MxO Preoder login page. sweet!

But that still means I will have to create a new charater when beta ends? Or can I use the Preorder login and activation cade and keep my character? Is ket right? New install, new character, etc>

Why, oh why? :P

Characters will be wiped when the game is ACTUALLY released, and it's extremely likely that they'll be wiped again BEFORE release, too. I doubt you have to install it again. You'll just have 2 accounts.

hmm the guys at game stop have NO idea when the boxes come... which is quite a shame..  i was kinda hoping to have it sometime this week... unfortunately they are up in the clouds when it comes to the box shipments
