I got The Ultimate Matrix Collection Special Edition and that's all that really matters. For the past few hours I've watched The Matrix with the Philosopher commentary and Matrix Revisited and other bonus stuff. Damn I love it!!!

Oh, and I got a winter coat, a poker set, some peanuts and Dodgeball.

You got snow? I hate you! Well, I do have the FL equivalent... it's pouring rain right now, so I guess I can technically call it an unfrozen white Christmas...

I also forgot to mention. I got a new Logitech headset, so y'all can hear my voice over TS again. You might want some new ear plugs.

From home I got a video camera, The Ultimate Matrix Collection (Limited Edition w/ Neo Statue which is really awesome looking) and some good ol' fasioned $$$.

I'm going to a christmas party with the entire family tonight, so I'll see what I get there, but it is a beautiful Christmas here with snow and frost and lots of sun! It's so pretty... *ehem* in a manly way. Yes, that's it... *grunt*

*EDIT* I just got back, and I recieved a Team Canada Bobble-Head and a Leather Wallet with $$$ in it. Yay!

Seriously though, this Ultimate Matrix Collection is amazing. I also noticed (by myself!) that "KYM" is etched into the elevator as Neo and Morpheus are going up to see The Oracle. Kym is the name of the costume designer for the movies. Ah ha!

We also got a ton of snow! I don't even know why I'm here right now... I could be watching the features on The Roots of the Matrix! Oh, and I also got some slippers and a watch. And I'm going to buy Half-Life 2 with my gift cards.

All I got from Santa this year is a huge credit card bill and a few smiles and marveled eyes from my young son as he unwrapped his new Fisher-Price toys.  You can't buy that. ;)

Well technically Grim, you don't really need a boy these days ;)

I waited a long time before having kids.  Now that I have one, I wonder why I waited so long.  I'd like to get another one now.  If only I could convince my wife of perpetuating my genes once again...  I guess I'll have to use the heavy artillery: mink coat, trips and a new car :)

Ah women !

:D

Anyway... getting away from advances in medical science...

I must say that there is nothing more sweet than watching a little kid open a present, especially when they're young, you're a very lucky man to be where you are CoreDump, and I hope that some day I can be in the same position. To you Grim, I also just got to see a little one open many gifts from myself, and it pleased me to see my open-mouthed 21 month old niece jump up and down with excitement reciting her only known christmas words so far (HO HO HO!).

A good time was had by my entire family and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season. I wish you all good health, happiness and success!

-~=+MERRY CHRISTMAS! AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!+=~-

Ozari, I was in the same boat as you... I had my 18-month-old niece come to FL for a rainy Christmas. Besides the fact she got overwhelmed by the mounds of presents under the tree, and that it took about 3 hours to do about half the presents, it seemed somewhat nice. My only regrets were my rechargable batteries were empty and the flash media was full for my camera...

Whooohoo. I got an extended trip to Alabama and Florida with the family! What's more enjoyable than spending every waking moment for 10 days either driving with the family or eating or shopping or talking or...you get the picture! :D I hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas!

So you went on a trip to Alabama ?  Did you visit Inbredtown ?

:D

My Christmas was a strange one by some standards.

I received a Ryobi gas powered edger / trim line weed-eater and a Home Depot gift card.  Decent because we just moved into a new home not long ago and it will really help out.

My wife on the other hand got a gift certificate to Victoria's Secret from my parents.   Now tell me...isnt that a little weird/creepy?

Beyond that, it was business as usual watching the kids make a disaster of the living room with wrapping paper and playing with all their retro type toys (light brite, care bear, webble wobbles (sp?) and other such stuff).

Thankfully most of it did not have loud obnoxious sounds (except for that damn YMCA Emlo thing!)

semiOctal, I think you're referring to Weebles ("Weebles wobble but they wont fall down!") I think everyone has some problem with an Elmo-like thing, so you're not alone.

About the lingerie, I think that means that her parents want more grandchildren from you two...
Title: X-Mas Presents
Post by: Anonymous on December 29, 2004, 05:10:46 pm
*sigh*

just so you know, victoria's secret also has a very good perfume/lotion line .... one mall had the downstairs part was like a bath and body works, and right above it was the lingerie. i only know this because my sister-in-law and i found the MOST wonderful smelling apple lotion stuff there ... meh i'm a sucker for anything apple, so yeah, victoria's secret is famous for the dainty things, but they have a whole crapload more ....

that just reminded me ..... i haven't been in a mall for about a year .... damn i suck at being a girl .... i almost painted my nails one day .... haha that was funny

hope everyone had a wonderful christmas! now it's time for new year's, so every be careful and don't "celebrate" too much ;)

I got my X-mas present early this year ... I got my son back.

My wife, at the time, took off with him on April 1st of this year, but just over a month later I found them halfway across the US ... I got him back the week of mother's day, and he has been with me since.

The dancing Elmo (pronounced Hell-mo) is great when you have your fingers in your ears & are watching the dancing 21-month-old in front of it...

Damn that thing is annoying...but my youngest daughter is too cute not to spoil like the rest of them.  :D

My two daughters (4-yr and 20-month old) love starting it and then pushing it over so it says 'Ooops! A little help please!"

It's nice that it's polite enough to say thank you when you stand him back up...this is turning into an ELMO thread  :)

If only my 8 year old son were as polite... :S

Try Babies "R" Us Grim.

We ordered one online two years ago.  They have great discounts.

We wanted a girl but they were backorder.

Here's a picture of the package we got by Fedex.

See how well they packed it ?

Listen guys.

You two really need to get together and start working on Tbone junior :).

I'll even celebrate the wedding for free if you like.  I promise not to be drunk (a lot) while I do it. ;)

Now I just need to get temporarily ordained by the church of St-Something of Whatever :)

We just need to make sure Tbone's wife is away during the ceremony.  You could send her on a trip for a few weeks T :)

LOL...I tried, but it is just too far away. If she were about 6 hours closer, I'd probably make the trip. I've got nothing to do during the holidays anyway.

By the way, I mentioned to Sevker about me applying for a job. It was right before their battle, though, so I don't think he saw it. Hehe
Title: X-Mas Presents
Post by: Anonymous on December 31, 2004, 04:13:30 pm
Applying for a job ?  Aren't you studying acting ?  Do you mean like a student (pumping gas) kind of job ?

Is Sevker hiring for something ?

I guess I'm just out of the loop :)

P.S.: Grim, I'm not sure what state you live in but you need to move to Mississipi :)
Title: X-Mas Presents
Post by: Tbone on December 31, 2004, 04:53:23 pm
Yeah, but if all my acting jobs, etc. fall through, maybe I can go work with computers with Sevker and Grim. Sounds better than picking cotton!

Post by: Anonymous on December 31, 2004, 05:19:21 pm
Oh I see why you're interested in that job ;)

So Sevker owns a business or what ?

Do you have any specific computer skills ?  Maybe I can give you a hand with a few things.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

sevker .... owning a business ..... ohhhhhh i'm dying hahahaha

no, sevker and i worked in the computer department of my high school .... he was technically my boss, although there were several things (like html) that i knew more about than him, which was sad, but still

however, us three working together over the summers would be a much better group than last summer ..... dear lord .....

moving to mississippi .... not so much .... in the dead middle of undergrad .... maybe for grad school .... or T you can be a gradass up here hahahaha

haha
