The MxO forums have now changed to allow aliases to be used. Basically it doesn't have to be your username anymore.
It always bugged me that it was different. It just harder to track someone when is MxO alias is different from what we know a person as in game or in the FA forums.
You just need to go in your MxO profile and put whatever alias you want to show as in the MxO forums.
Hurry up, it might have to be unique. Get in and claim your alias before someone else does !
-
No, it doesn't have to be unique. But I recommend changing it soon anyway! Don't want anybody looking down on us for not using capitalization...
-
I tried to get into the beta forum (and even general) but it isnt taking my account info.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
-
I just keep logging in as "Null" and cant see any new posts
-
I think it might be cool if we represent on the beta forums...ie: add [FA] to our names.
I changed my name from beleev to [FA]Beleev.
-
awsome. Ya Using [FA] as a prefix might be cool.
-
good idear beleev just like in irc chat :)
-
Let's do it :)
-
Yup. [FA]Tbone is set to go. Everyone follow suit!
-
ok, but I wont be on untill those devs shake a leg and fix my account
-
Question, should the captains put a Cpt. prefix before their names to denote the great accomplishment of captainship in FA?
-
My opinion on that is that "[FA]" is enough. I think having a uniform "[FA]xxx" for all FAs is better than a few "[FA]", a few "[FA Captain]" and one "[FA Commander]".
If you want to specify that you're a captain, put it in your sig.
-
Ya agreed thats what your sig is for. :)
-
Yeah, uniformed [FA] is good. Captainship and stuff, if you want to acknowledge it, should be somewhere in the sig.
-
Besides, is it really a smart idea? In war, you never salute your commanding officer so the enemy won't know who to kill first.
-
ha. i like you. i'll kill you last
-
I'm all set.
-
rgr that
-
done
-
/bump
Sorry, but I thought this should be at the top of the window again. I saw in the forums that some of us hadn't updated their alias yet & figured it may not be long before this thread fell off the front page.
-
Well I saw that a lot of people changed their alias to something that looks better but many did not put "[FA]" in front of it.
-
I just think it's as equally important to have the same uniformity (there's no way that's really a word) with our alias as we do our DogTags, to further show our level of organization.
-
Agreed.

I think the original Idea is more than suffice for the task at hand...ya heard, I aight his little nose, I aight his little face, and i also aight his guts.......and i also aight the mess he left on me rug, ya heard me
"Shortstack to Papa Moose, end feed"
"Roger".................................
