I registered the TheFuriousAngels.com domain. I was thinking of making it a secure email service for our members. So you would have your very own user@TheFuriousAngels.com email address.
It would have a private registration so only members can sign up. And if you are dismissed from the faction, we would freeze your account. It will be web accessible (so you can check your email using the website) and POP3 (so you can check your email using Outlook or any other email software). Also, there will be an option to forward emails to your current email address.
The idea arose when I was trying to send an email and I realized I did not have a Furious Angels email address. I'm sure, especially when the gaming community expands, there will be a need for our members to communicate with other players with a professional email address.
Let me know what you guys think about the whole idea. Suggestions? Comments? Didn't we use to have an @followtheangel.org email service?
Wow it's 3:20 am. I should sleep.

Whether there is an email service associated with that domain name or not, we can still use the domain name to create a website. What should the website be? Blank page? Clue for our challenge? Redirect to FollowTheAngel.org? Some website?
Also, the .net and .org domain names are available. Should I register those for anything?

Yes, we still do have a @followtheangel.org webmail service, but no pop3....
-
Yep, I use mine: ketamininja@followtheangel.org
-
So what is required to obtain a webmail account @followtheangel.org ?
-
A urine sample.
:D
Seriously you just need to send a PM to likwidtek.
-
i never got mine the first time around, after PMing likwid twice :(
-
Did you provide the mandatory urine sample Grim ?
Ok I'll stop now.
-
Oops. Ya I had no idea the @followtheangel.org was still available for everyone. Should I still make the @thefuriousangels.com email service for the hell of it? It would be a register form thingy (with no urine sample) so people can instantly create an email themselves to prevent waiting. Or would 2 email domains be too confusing?

My stupid question for the day is...
How the hell do I access my @followtheangel.org webmail account?
I've had it for months and can't even get to it...*slams head on desk repeatedly*

www.followtheangel.org/webmail
I would say registering thefuriousangel.com is a wise move anyway.

Tbone can set up your email services just as well as likwid can to my knowledge.
