Title: The World of Consoles - Part 1
Post by: Anonymous on February 16, 2005, 11:30:46 pm: I'm just killing time. Someone else is running a mission team and I'm decompiling and gathering bits. So just answer the question and maybe add a little info about what you like about the system(s) you own.

I personally have a Xbox but..... MxO has taking away all my time from it and playing Halo 2, especially after I finished Halo 2... *sigh*

Post by: Eroz on February 16, 2005, 11:41:20 pm: I am personally a PC fanboy. I have games for all the systems, but I just hijack a friends console and beat the game then return the console. I guess you can say I'm here for the games, I don't give a damn about the system it runs on. And why did you put the PS1 but not the 64. I still enjoy (or hate) Blast Corps. (I one day will finish with rank 31.) I also enjoy time playing the SNES RPGs (Crono Trigger, Super Mario RPG are the favs.)

*Pulls out NES gun* Game of Duck Hunt anyone?

The only games I play on the PC are FPS's (23894712% better aiming than console lol) and MMO's. Every other genre I normally play from a console.

Post by: Anonymous on February 19, 2005, 02:13:48 am: PC, PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, GBA, and soon PSP. I've always been a console gamer, mainly because I got my first computer only 5 years ago, and only a decent one 6 months ago. I enjoy PC games, but don't look to buy them when I go to game stores.

Post by: Ketamininja on February 19, 2005, 08:04:30 am: Owned at least one of each over the years, but I agree with Iris regarding the aiming on FPS, and I am mainly a PC man, simply because its not all games for me!

Most memorable game: DOA 3 on PS2, I just love the way its soooo fluid, sometimes like watching a movie. GTA series wins hands down (especially since it was made in Scotland!!).

My brother recently imported a DS, to UK, and i was wondering how it faired up to the PSP etc... :)
