What the hell is that?

That is people typing in the site or choosing it in their bookmarks, I think. In other words, it represents each time WE login to the site.

Online Advertising
Ket and I were discussing it earlier. We just threw the idea in the air. If we advertise for Google (get paid-per-search), we could make lots of money. But of course, we would have to blend it in to the roleplaying. Maybe make it a "Zion Archive Search" aka Google. They pay 3 cents per search. Potentials could use it to help them find answers to the challenge riddles.

ok well that was a waste of time....

WTF is up with people using IE? GOD THAT PISSES ME OFF! hehe.
I'm the 1% using opera, and sometimes firefox (like now)
-
i use ie hehehe :P i pwn u n00b!!
-
Firefox sucks with flash apps.... keeps accessing Quicktime instead of flash... piece of *BLEEP*!!!
-
The advertising thing is a possibility. It could help pay for site expenses.
-
Yeah we were curious if ADS would "spoil" the image.
It might help with bandwidth payment, and we should be able to get it to give search hits that are relevant I guess, but the "challenge" is flash, so we would have to read the data and display it accordingly... if we CAN do that, without having it look like the ads normall do, we could get away with it ;)
I'm an Opera user :)

The only time I have problems with firefox is when it's a page running scripts designed for IE. the problem isnt with firefox, it's with the page, if the code is written using the w3 web standards, and validated, it'll run fine in just about any browser, the only time there's ever an exception to this is when the syntax or scripting is done wrong or not to standard.
On a side note, the google ad sense idea would be cool for one of the pages to help with site expenses like the hosting/colo, bandwidth, domain registration, etc,
I've donated a little so far with paypal, but I know there's many out there who cant afford to right now, which is where the google ad sense would definitly come in handy.

sounds like a good idea to me, who doesn't love google?
