I went searching for that petition to roll back high level characters tonight and its gone.....
Is it over??? is it really over!??!?

Unfortunently not Unforgiven. I just went to the board and it is on page 3. It just isnt getting asmuch spotlight as it was a couple days ago.

This is just an FYI and update for my fellow Angels regarding the situation with us being named as “exploiters”. Things may be dying down, but we are not out of the woods yet.
I was silently observing the chat on RFZ’s IRC channel when I caught the mention of FA in a conversation that was going on. I keyed in on this conversation and we were being compared to RIP as far as exploiting goes. They said, “The only difference between RIP and FA is that FA has the Devs help.”
Yet another person in this conversation said that they observed members of FA standing on top of a building while a couple others, apparently in the group, ran missions between that building and a couple buildings directly next to that one. They said they watched as the members atop these buildings leveled several times; “green stuff came out of them”, were their exact words.
I should have gotten the logs from that conversation to post. Other things were said, but those two were two statements the stung the most. I’m quite positive that most of this is information that has been twisted and skewed, at this point, but the fact remains that it is being spread around. I’m not posting this for people to get pissed off at the community. I’m posting this because we still have work to do to repair our reputation. We need to continue to stay away from all appearances of inappropriate behavior and taking advantage of unintended loopholes in the game systems. (I’m not talking about using the game as intended…. like using infiltration skills to do…INFILTRATION missions.) Lets us be very mindful of our words and actions both in game and on any of the IRC channels and boards.

the only way our rep will be repaired is if csrs make a public apology and say they were wrong....no matter what we do, no ones going to forgive us "exploiting" without dev intervention.

Dev CSR intervention will help, but we have our responsibility to represent ourselves in an appropriate manner as well, regardless of what the CSRs/Devs do or don't do.

I know that my opinion doesn't really carry that much weight, but as long as we are NOT using exploits, why does it really matter what they think? As long as we dont change, and we still put out the best damn parties, and we still wear the best damn uniforms, and we still help the new members of teh comunity, why should it matter what these jealous sons of bitches think of us? Yea, it sucks that the CSR's screwed up, and yes we deserve better than this, but we are not the first good guys to get screwed. Should we waste our time trying to fight back on the boards, or should we be planning in game events, something that hasn't been mentioned since the launch (That I have seen), I might add. Lets just play our game, and still BE the GOOD guys, and people will once again see us as the good guys.

I agree with you, Apollithenes. I'm not saying we should spend our time worrying about what people think of us. I'm just saying that we should be mindful to maintain the standards that we have all agreed to abide by as Furious Angels. I know that in the thick of things, it can be tempting to let certain standards slide or we can, at times, let other standards slip a little based on the best of intentions. This is only human nature.
However, it is just a reminder to myself and my fellow Angels that we are nothing if we let ANYTHING compromise the standards that we have agreed to uphold as Furious Angels for ANY reason.
And the ugly truth of the matter is that part of the responsibility of being the "good guys" is that we have to clean up the messes that the "bad guys" make. Even if that mess is made in our own "homes".

It appears that we said the same thing, in different words and didn't realize it. I agree.
