make sure you enter your sig in two places:
1) ./residual_selfimage to the left, "change your info" and enter it in the sig box there
2) at the top of this thread, there is a link called "profile" where you can enter it as well. one overrides the other, don't remember which.
enter your sig like this:

The sigs go on forum posts, therefore updating the BOARD profile will not apply to forum posts.
Make sure you update your PROFILE which you should find at the top of every forum post...

so why is there a place to enter a sig in the residual self-image? just for PMs? is there a way to remove that part to keep people from getting confused? :p

The PM system is actually part of the forum.
If you use THIS (http://www.followtheangel.org/user.php?op=edituser) Then I believe it only applies to website things (not forum things)... err like news?
Basically, if you put the sig in the first link I gave you, then it is automatically copied across to the second link I just posted. If you do it the other way around, I believe it is NOT copied across, hence the sig would not appear in the forums.

I'm glad to see more variation creeping in. :) There was always supposed to be a large amount of difference between the sigs while remaining thematically consistent.

Yeah I saw a couple people's sigs and they looked cool with background coloring and shading, thought I'd mix mine up a little bit. Although I suck with graphics programs, so I have to get lel to do all of mine :D

you guys think mine needs changing? I still wanna keep some form of cool, unique animation in there with the line/bar or a window pop up like one of TBones old ones...

That one? The reason that I never did any more like that was because you can't post multiple image sigs on the MxO boards anymore. Which is also why I got away from animating the boxes. Everyone having the same widget animation seemed soooo boring - and there just isn't that much you can do with 18 frames. ;) Anything more than that starts eating into the size limit. With the two seperate images, you could put pauses and other tricks in to keep the frame count down, but still not have the wheel in sync with the rest of the animation.
I like yours in black and white, Fuse. I just think it needs a colored spark sparking (for lack of a better word) on the fuse.

I was talking about one that opened up sort of like the window frame on the challenge now.
It had the stripes for officer, or commander on the sides-I'm not sure which rank they were.
Sparks are a decent idea. I still kinda like how mine is appealing, yet not too busy.
18 frames is rough to work with, agreed.
