As far as I know, you can't edit it. CCR the issue so they will let us edit it in the future. Does anyone else know if we can edit it?

I doubt you can edit it, however when i was messing around with some files in the MXO folder i found a file that contained the text of my profile along with other code.   I am not sure if this can be edited, if it is client side and shows when someone requests, or just meaningless.   I will look for the name of the file and post it here in a few minutes.

it is the MCD.CFG file in your account/character/ folder in MXO.  It has character name and profile along with other code.  I will try to edit mine to see if it changes anything.

I was wondering myself if editing that file would update it. I never wanted to try cause I was happy with it. Let me know if it works.

I tried editing that file, which you can, however as soon as you log in game it goes back to the original. I also tried changing it while still ingame, again it did not work. I guess petitioning it will be the only way to eventually be able to change the information :)

yeah I tried the same things Lelyel.  I was hoping that it was a client side file that was called upon or updated to the database.    I had also noticed that the file would generate back to the "server" version  upon jacking into the game, I also tried editing it in game then trading info to update character to database so that maybe it would write the info to the database but no go.  I just find it strange why this CFG file in on client side, whats its purpose. Maybe we will further figure something out about this.

Also on another note, while searching CFG files i came across one where all the Factions were intermixed with the code, and Furious Angels was the very first one!  Dont know if someone wrote that file or if we may have been the first faction on Enum or something like that, but its a little coolness there.

I agree that they need to allow you to edit your own profile, something else might happen that you feel is worth putting in, or you just dont like it.
