i dont know if anyone else has already seen it...but in vegas, the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy came out today. I loved the book...so i had to see it. It was really good. The actors were cast well...and although it didn't fit exactly to the book, i didnt expect it too. The soundtrack was awesome too. Yeah it was a pretty good movie. I def. recommend it.

I am going to kill you. If you read the forward of the book by Douglas Adams, he states that none of the version are like the other version. He created them that way. Anyone that thinks the movie should have followed the book scene for scene should be shot. I am going to go see it now.
It was so cool when I saw the first trailer for H2G2. The world pictured showed and I turned to my friends and said watch it go ka-boom. About 2 seconds later, "ka-boom!!!" with "Don't Panic", and I just started cheering people throught I was nuts because I know almost all of them still don't get that trailer.

If you can find the old BBC production of the hitch hikers guide you'll get a good luagh. They couldn't make it that good with the low budget they had so the pure corny special effects are worth seeing it.

I just saw it. It was pretty nice. It had some cool philosophy behind it. If you're keen, read about the argument from design.

the movie was good. definitely a must see. i just didnt think it was that funny cuz i already kind of new all the jokes. but if u havent read the books then ur in for one hell of a surprise. and yes i definitely think theres a sequel comming. they threw the flower pot joke in there. thats definitely opening way for a sequel.

The Restaurant at the End of the Universe was a damn good book like Guide was. If they decide to make a sequal, it seems the natural progression based off of the last scene. :p

i saw the old bbc version a long ass time ago.....lame speical effects kick ass....and personally i kinda hope they dont make the restaurant at the end of the universe a book......because douglas adams is dead...and i know he died before this one came out..but he still got to work on it...so io think the 2nd one would come out lame...but i dotn know

Lame special effects? come on they had almost no budget. You can't look at it like a star wars production but instead what someone could do if they had only a bit of money and for that its funny as hell to me especialy that paper machie (sp btw how do you spell that?) second head.
