Title: How is the site supported.
Post by: Anonymous on May 04, 2005, 04:14:49 pm: Is the site looking for donaters to survive or is this the free will expense of a nice idivindual? Just wondering if its like a "We welcome those who want to donate to do so", or you the website is pretty sound as far as finance.

Seriously though, there are those in the staff that kindly contribute out of their own pocket. Donating is in no way shape or form expected or manditory... but it is appreciated. Bandwidth is actually really reasonable.... it runs about... $70 - $100 a year.

Post by: Anonymous on May 06, 2005, 12:40:35 am: question: is it just me, or has the site been slow to load lately for anyone else? i only have this problem with this site, nothing else. i'll be fine then it will drag and take 20 minutes to load, and i'll try refreshing or closing out the browser and retrying, and i dunno it just has little lag spikes or something. is there a way to fix it? or is it on the server's side?

I think they haven't set up their systems quite right somewhere...
