Ok here or some quality screens of this beautiful setup. Heres the deal we make this an open party and ask the Jokerz and Les from the oposite orgs to help us in bouncing this event. This can work but we need everyones help. Please voice your opinion to help make this good and of course vote.

Woot!
-
Very nice. Are the doors in #161 the only was in/out? That'd make it really easy to bounce.
-
Having too few doors can be a problem as well. Because so many people from beta, exspecially, know that place already, expect someone to come crash it. If everyone has to leave through the same doors, ouch, AOE field day. Just my two cents for now.
-
I still think we should take over club hel we just need a voulenteer to ruin thier rep.

Vinzeru and Orien put a lot of work into figuring out crowd control at this place. I watched and didn't say much, but they took a lot of time to guess how trouble-makers could try to ruin the fun, and they figured out the best possible ways to keep them from doing so. Kayda and a few other people showed up whose names escape me (sorry guys), and Vinseru gave us all a run through as to how this would work.
After all the planning, and if we could get the help of a couple friendly Mach and Merv factions, this could easily be pulled off.
-
got the rep for club hell but weather its good for rp to do it, is still a question.
-
wow. that place is amazingly similar to the fight scene with the Crazy 88s in kill bill. holy fuck.
-
i think we should do it in club hel just make sure we get it out there and known i cant think of how it will hurt us even more it might help us who knows.

No, those doors are NOT the only entrance. In fact I don't even think they will be used as a main entrance. If you go past the left stairway and turn right, it leads through a door to a small room, which has a set of doors that lead outside. If you go out those doors, there is a hardline just to the right.
I realize the potential for the party being crashed by the usual suspects, which is why I mapped out several positions for bouncers to stakeout. We would need help from Machinist and Merv organizations as well, as a Zionist could easily attempt to crash the party.
Machinists I'm considering contacting incluide the Jokerz, and possibly G7G since they have been on decent terms with us lately. Merovingians I'm considering contacting include Les Enfants Terrible and Veror Nos. LET held the Flood party which was civil, and were trying to tell other factions to behave before the Hel club party started. Of course those other factions didn't, but they even expressed to me personally that they did not condone the actions and were sorry some people just coulldnt be civil.
Anyway, I have several locations mapped out that would be good spots for bouncers to keep watch. Orien helped me with this, testing the range of certain areas. If we go back there soon I may get a few screenshots of these spots., but for now I can give a brief overview.
Inside:
On the left and right balcony you can stand in a certain spot and see to the doors, and those doors are roughly 20-22 meters away. You can shoot that distance with an SMG or Rifle, and easily hack that distance. In the center balcony area you can hack/shoot to the distance of the middle of the dance floor. This is for the "front" door. Obviously set a doorman or two there to greet people and make sure they take off their shoes (a must for the nature of this party). Meanwhile, we have the MA just around each corner to run in and hold them in place if they want to cause trouble, allowing the watchers above to hack or shoot..
The back door is more likely where all the "action" is going to occur, if it occurs at all. That is the closest door to the hardline, so it's the easiest access. However, it is clearly a bottleneck. We can easily keep them outside if we don't want them getting in (actually it might be wise to direct them to the other side to make it easier to determind who's in and who's out). There should also be someone under the left stairway in case a few get through, so they can see who and the rest of the team can assemble to attempt to address the problem.
Outside:
The roof is a pagoda style roof, with multiple tiers. The first tier on either entrance can be used for ranged attackers to keep watch, especially in the back near the hardline. The second tier can be used to hack the area below for. Once again, these distances have been rigorously tested. In addition to that, the front side has a building low enough to hack down to the street level, with a barrier to the right that blocks view of said hacker. It is located by leaving the front door from inside the club and looking up and to the left.
Another tactic I'd like to discuss is for repeat offenders. As in, the people that just run in, kill kill kill, die, and instantly return to the hardline for another go. Well, lets say this person is named Sinner666 (because I don't like that kid). This tactic is for Master Assassins, and here's how it works. I call it "The Ultimate Greenscreen". First, the Master Assassin would type /macro Sinner /addwaypoint Sinner666 ; /target Sinner666 ; /use (slot#) (bar#). After that, the Assassin stands directly to the side of the hardline, with enough view of the front of the hardline. The last step is to lie in wait and spam Reverse Bulldog until the the offender (Sinner) loads in through the hardline, giving him no chance to escape his punishment. The great thing about where the hardline here is located is that it is actually UNDER the roof, meaning you can't simply jump once you get through. You have to run a bit first. Like I said though, this is reserved for repeat offenders.... and somthing I am uneasy about telling the Mach and Merv factions with us....
All of these spots, if used correctly, will assure that we and the team of cross organizational bouncers can keep the peace at this event. I suggest each organization's team of bouncers be on a team to keep communication smooth. Not so much an issue for us because of TS, but I am still considering the possibility of asking one other Zionist faction to help out (making it 2 per organization). Having AIM up to keep in contact with the leaders of the other organization team leaders would be wise as well.
It is most certainly going to take some organization, and I've only laid down a foundation for the strategy for keeping the environment safe. In addition people should chime in with their ideas for events, contests, and whatnot. There were several things you could do at this club that were very good for roleplay, such as using /mood fidgety to kneel at the tables on the left side, or the fact that everyone should take their shoes off out of respect for the location. Theres a bar to be tended, there are tables (someone brough up using the Waiter Disguise to wait tables). And of course there is a dancefloor in the center that could easily be turned into a fighting put fot MA duels. Theres the front stage that could be used to hold contests and give announcements. Many more things you can do with this place if we get creative, which will leave everyone having a great time
The last thought I have is to have an FA only "dry run" of this, to SHOW everyone who wants to be involved all of these spots, and in addition, to have a picture taken... if you look at those two stairways, my idea was to have FA all in whites lined up on the railings, facing the doors slightly. Left stairway, left railing, right stairway, right railing. Tbone could stand up top in the center. A few female RSI by his side of course.
Oh, and I almost forgot. I'm tending the bar, and Grim is my assistant.
-
Well if Tivod has the rep to get us in to Hel by all means that makes Bouncing easier. This Kill Bill option was just incase we did not want to go through with the missions to get to Meet Flood. I say since Tviod put the effort into getting the Merv rep we should do it in Hel. We could always have our second party here. Again im in no way throwing the Kill Bill idea out the window We only thought of this because I thought the Hel idea was lost.
-
I do like this party idea but I still say you should try and get the devs to patrol the party as well. They did it for the merv's club hel party we should be able to get them to do it for this one.
-
Screw you! I wanna pour drinks! :)
-
Lol Nice Setup i Would set up a party If I was the big boss man ;)
-
Yeah we foudn that building way way way back in beat while running around itnernational. I think it was a week ro two afetr they actually added international into the game lol.
Anyway I have always wanted to have or join in on a party there. Unfortunatly it hasn't happened yet, I haev always been 100% for this place.
-
great stuff vinzeru... cept you made one mistake.... Your not tending the bar... Grim is... she's the official FA bartender... you can assist her if she sees fit =p lol
-
How about this we have party in club hel first then we have an after party party that is open to all orgs at this place hmm maybe?
-
Thats what im thinkin Khronik. Definately have one in Hel first.
-
i think i may also take the time and ruin my rep to get to those meet flood/persephone missions and when ever i get that far ill be high enough lvl to teleport people.
-
You could still teleport people actually. Anyone who is inside can. You'd just need to know the name of the person you wanted to teleport in. Get in there with Tivod, disband, and then just start inviting people to a team while inside and teleporting them to you. This is the one thing that LET wasn't doing, and should have been.
I definitely want to do all 3 though.(don't forget about Grim's party at Masamune guys.... FA only). The Kill Bill party is a far off date anyway. It's going to take a lot of planning, and when that planning is close to done its going to need a 2 week advance for RFZ coverage if we want that. The Masamune party, being FA only, would obviously have to be when everyone is back from their breaks before the event. Otherwise it wouldn't really fulfill Grim's purpose. The Hel club idea is somewhat the same way... while we could easily do it , it would have more of an effect when everyone is back and we're in full swing again.
Which might mean we should wait till after the event? Or possible either Hel or Masamune could be right before the event. I guess it depends on when everyone gets back. Of course, Masamune is up to Grim and Hel to Tivod respectively, being their ideas.. Kill Bill is on the horizon after a lot of detailed planning and making contact's, but don't worry, I'll be on it.
-
lol we just keep making more and more parties! :)
so let me get this straight:
party one: just FA, possibly in masamune
party two: just zionists, in club hell
party three: all organizations, in the kill bill place
that sounds pretty good to me!! i think we need to start making some dates, preferably after the next event. what i'm thinking is: the live events are held about once a month, right? so would it be okay to assume that we could do a party every weekend between this coming event and the one following? that way, everyone should be able to make at least one of them, and it would put in some filler between the events. we all knokw how long a month is to wait for the next event, so definately having a party every weekend would take some stress off and keep us occupied. whadday'all think? :p
-
Agreed I think its really easy to pull off the FA party within this event. Then have the club hel party maybe the week after the Live event. Then have the Kill Bill Party the week before the next event. Heres a list of what we need for the Hel and Kill Bill event. Add anything you think is necessary:
Club Hel:
1. RFZ DJ
2. Bouncers even though its going to be easy for role play purposes.
3. Recall Mission team.
4. A way to send party invitations to each zion faction unless we want to post in the Player Events section.
Kill Bill:
1. Cooperation with Machine and Merv Bouncers.
2. RFZ DJ
3. Our own faction bouncers.
-
actually i think the live events are every 2 weeks or somthing.
-
there only suppose to be once a month...but they last up to a week or more which makes them seem more often. but parties sound good to me....
only thing is Sared can't pour drinks....Thats me and grims job :)
-
yes, lel is my loyal bartending counterpart. :)
i don't think doing ANY parties before or even during the live event is too good of an idea, because we have to give the overseas people enough time before hand to know about it, plus i will need time prior to set things up. :)
-
Aight thats cool, but lets atleast start the planning stages now for a date.
-
I know the las tthing we need to do now is introduce ANOTHER idea, but I think it woulld be a good idea to have SOMETHING, doesn't have to be a party, during the friends nd family trial. Maybe an auction for useful items to low levels. Maybe a best dressed noob contest. Anything along these lines, from a PR stand point, I think would be a good idea. Something that doesn't require too much planning, and something we could potentially run in Mara without bieng crashed... hopefully people will see that this is for the new people and not be stupid... but perhaps I have to much faith in our enemies.
-
see the problem with that is A. its during a live event B. If its whats is hyped up to be it will probley be pretty active and will be stuff happening during most of the time.
