How do I get access to my ships forum...I'm STILL locked out

well the captains of the ship have the ability to do so... i didn't figure that out till about a week or two after i was captain :P just pm the captain about giving you access and you'll be in

Ahh, ooops.
Yes there is a problem with your "group" that was only noticed a few days ago.
I will look at getting this sorted, then inform the captain - the captain is responsible for adding you for access, but he can't for this ship as its broken!

Yah........I need fixed as well....im having the same problem as altab was having, ket... :'(
Oh yah, almost forgot to tell u ket, we've been experencing problems with our ship as far as the ship's heating and what not... i swear when i've been jacked into the Matrix sometimes, I was freezing my ass off while it was a sunny day in the Matrix...yah, our ship is so cold i can actually feel my body shiver while i am in the Matrix..........lol :D

I "fixed" the issue by deleting the group, recreating and adding everyone to it (from Hovercraft Asperitas). The problem was access to the Asperitas forums; the "group" was messed up. I added you to the group so.....
Can you elaborate on the problem? Describe what you are trying to do, and what happens.

Yeah I got the email yesterday that i was accepted into the Aperitas Crew Members user group, but when i try to go to the forums it still says that I am not part of the user group. When i go to my groups it shows i am subscribed to the Asperitas Crew Members but still no access....

Was talking to Kosila earlier about this... He said I may have to wait a week... none the less I was accepted to the Evigilos last night, can't see the forum. Is it a week wait thing, or access problem on site?

hmm it should have added you automatically according to the Crew roster. I removed and added you manually to see if that might help.

Styan - You were accepted last night. You received a PM saying "Welcome aboard - you now have access to forums, don't reply"?
Arch, you saw styan IN the forum usergroup? You kicked him, then added him again?
It looks like Styan WAS added to the group...., that alone should give the access so if it didn't, I need to look at what is going wrong... :S

yup that's exactly what i did... I was informed that after his acceptance he wasn't able to get onto our ship forums so i booted them off the FORUM list and added them again manually to see if that works. i have to get in touch with ferris and ask him if he was able to get in since i accepted them both together.

wtf thats strange.
The groups exists (you are a member). The group has rights, and if you are added, you gain those rights.
When another user is added, like Styan, he gains those rights, so long as he is a member of that group.
Very strange. Please let me know if Ferris has the same problem.

Ferris has access... as of yet i haven't seen Styan post so i'll assume that he still isn't able to get into the ship.
