I would have to agree with almost all of that, it makes a lot of sense and several of those points I'd like to see myself.

Hmmmn...

Have a look at Boiling Point: Road to Hell. It might just have what these people (we) crave for.
Columbian Jungle, 4 x size Chicago or something, you can literally go anywhere. Take the bus, taxi. Learn to fly a plane, or chopper. Work for organizations GTA style. In fact, this is GTA, with a hell of a lot better AI, but not as smooth as FARCRY for vehicle interaction (or GTA for that matter). No idea of its online potential.

heh, I can't imagine a movie where the hero runs about for 2 hours killing the same characters over and over in what appears to be the same corridor throughout the film.

yes but in red vs blue they tell more jokes than they do fight, and even when they fight they really just spew a bunch of bullets at each other, but no one ever gets hurt (except for church, and only by caboose).

great post.  I forwarded that to everyone I know... well everyone I know who I dont mind finding out Im a dork.  And RvB... Classic.  I love that stuff!  they have both the first seasons on DVD at my blockbuster, but they are ALWAYS checked out,
