Title: What it means (Tohryanse)
Post by: Anonymous on July 11, 2005, 02:49:38 am
The other night while on a crit I was accosted by a couple of bell-ends from Machines, can't remember the faction, just finished ganking a level 37 guy (they were 43 and 50) and clearly on a sugar rush, call out to me "Tohryanse... lol that's the faith Zion gets" - whatever the hell that's meant to mean?!!

Anyway for those who might be interested, the name Tohryanse is a Japanese nursery rhyme (http://www.groonk.net/blog/mt-archives/002635.php), it plays in the Animatrix segment "Beyond" and is the MIDI file I was asking for help on :p

So there you go, my spam for the day.  Enjoy :)

You can hear children sing it here. If you throw that bitch in winamp and put it on loop; it will freak your shit. Kids singing nursery-rhyme-like tunes can be freaky.

Speaking of which, Ballad of a Fallen Angel (http://fuse.gotdns.com/FA/Sared/Cowboy%20Bebop%20-%20Ballad%20Of%20A%20Fallen%20Angel.mp3), one of the greatest songs from one of the greatest anime's ever, is also some great stuff along that vein.

it's funny fuse used that, I have an audio clip of it I play on the speakers every time my room mate says something that earns it, and on occasion we put it to jokes and videoclips for good measure
