New Sentinel is up! Search high and low.
http://thematrixonline.station.sony.com/sentinel/index.vm
EDIT
Update Zion RELAY:
http://thematrixonline.station.sony.com/sentinel/message.vm?message=Zion
-
Right side, hollow point = Machine
Pyramid = Zion
Frenchman word on litter = Merv
-
Nice catch on the Merv and Machine. Im so excited LE comin soon!!!
What i dont get is these other leaflets that have been dropping i havent seen.
-
Yeah me neither, I figured they must have been in another district but I guess not...!
-
holy fucking shite? CONTENT *Eroz dies*
-
Run the Names of the two people who died through an anagram see if it holds. Zion might finally break into two judging from the Personal Ad.
The Names:
Edruder M Pomsheur - Initials EMP - "Murder Morpheus"
Phom Reu Desid - Initials PRD - "Morpheus Died"
-
Intersting. But a really shit way to insert it into a story on their part :p
-
God, I hope so.
I have been waiting for that for what, 8 months now?
I should go rez that topic about who we should follow.
-
Holy shite, Morpheus real last name: Mr. Diction
Translate: It is time again for action. "So saltare il fasso."
& The Assassin ha i giorni contati!
-
Edruder M. Pomsheur = Morpheus Murdered
Phom Reu Desid = Morpheus Died
Nothing we don't already know, but hey, FRESH CONTENT!!!
Also, we need to find out who Hammerline is. And who "L" refers to in the "Personal of the Day". Locke? Link?
-
Mr. Diction?
-
I dont think thats his real last name. Flood is poking fun at the fact that Morpheus makes alot of speeches.
dic·tion
n.
1. Choice and use of words in speech or writing.
2. Degree of clarity and distinctness of pronunciation in speech or singing; enunciation.
-
makes sense, now if the machines did that i would have no doubt in my mind. just look up diction at webster.com
-
as far as the leaflets go, it looks like most of them are pointing blame at someone.
"The Agency of Order may trick some again."
--possibly referring to the machines
"Do not trust the Frenchman."
--merv
"Lifelines, severed, one by one. The mind marooned, the body will waste."
--possibly referring to those in Zion wanting to free those in the pods.
i'm not sure what the neorealism one is getting at, but it looks like whoever is dropping the leaflets is trying to turn everyone against each other. in the hidden articles that seems like what at least the machines and mervs are doing.
notice the leaflet: "Help is coming. Look to the skies!" then the Fly in the Soup article. here's a passage from that:
----Once the shots died down, we cautiously came out. We found the Redpill crowd almost completely gone, and the few left looking up at the sky.
I asked one whether a helicopter had scared everybody off, and he looked at me oddly and said, "he needed no helicopter." Who? And the Redpill clammed up.----
not sure if this is referring to neo, morpheus or one of the other orgs that are supposed to be coming. maybe kid?

-
it's not the kid, it was me hyperjumping.
details coming soon. dun dun dun... =X
-
Where did you find the frenchman and the Zion link?
-
tab down the page and it will take you to all the links. the merv one is hard to see, but it is the word "frenchman" on the flyer in the picture
-
I just view source code and search for all HTTP.
-
i over-thought my way through the entire followtheangel puzzle, so i thought i would over-think the new sentinel. the follwing may lead you to a total waste of your time so skip ahead if you don't want to risk that.
there are 2 briefs that i took notice to. the first is the one about club sanguine. club sanguine is in moriah. the brief mentions that the club is reopened under new management since the old owner died. inside the club are gravestones. one reads something along the lines of "here lies jeon penonnea." jeon penonnea doesn't really seem like a real name, kinda like Edruder M. Pomsheur . is jeon penonnea an anagram for something? if so, i couldn't find it. there are other gravestones in there but it was hard for me to read them.
second brief is the one about the azimuth monument. people spraypainted "the 3 laws of robotics."
so here they are: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Laws_of_Robotics
but that's not what interests me. the article also says "it's a very lame pun."
so i conducted a new google:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&as_qdr=all&q=+%22three+laws+of+robotics%22+pun
well, anyways....
if any of this is significant, i don't know what to do with it.
if you read through all this and think i wasted your time, well, i did warn you ahead of time.
-
to add to my nonsense, the personal of the day is directed to Hammerline. well, the hammer is a somewhat significant hovercraft in the movies. if THIS leads somewhere or is foresight, i don't know.
*edit*
i found a post on the matrix general forums that already cover this stuff. some pretty interesting theories there.
-
You could have something there Bentonn, clearly the machines are becoming the next target... but why? And what the hell does jeon penonnea mean...?!
-
i sense...i am being mocked...
very well. I will discover the secrets of the sentinel by myself :P
-
Hey man I was with you! I agree it does look very fishy, a lot of new names coming up and I can't see why. And for the three laws of robotics to be quoted looks to me like a Merv threat to the Machines...
-
It seems to me that Zion and Machs could be teaming up against the Merv.
-----
Merovingian employs Assassin -> Assassin kills Morpheus (supposedly)
Zion seeks revenge -> Machines seek stability
Zion discovers Assassin's employer -> Flood claims that killing Morpheus wasn't the intent of the Merovingian
Nonetheless, Zion still seeks revenge -> Machines still seek stability
Zion and Machines team up against a common enemy?
-----
Just my 2 cents.

One thing I noticed while looking for the locations fo the two Azimuth Monuments was an Exile Hideout named "Old Hammerville High" in Dannah Heights as well as a "Mjolnir Monument" in Magog. BTW this is in reference to the personal ad about Niobe.
-
Who is the boss in Hammerville?
-
Morbiel
-
Please post the coords for this boss's location
-
I would guess somewhere at the bottom of the hideout, I can't give the coords just yet.
-
Another interesting find:
"We believe Morpheus truly dead, by the way. He is nowhere in the Matrix we can see. His body has not been accounted for in the hard world, however. Perhaps it rots, which is a shame."
Why would that be a shame? Now they could be mocking him by saying that, or they could be honest when they say that, now why would our bodies rotting make a difference to them? It's as if they've figured out a way to keep the body from rotting, so that it may be reused again as a shell......
Perhaps it rots?? Perhaps? Of course it does, it's a natural process when you die. Yet they say that as if they can counter it.
-
Probably because they could have recycled it
-
ahhhhhhhhhh.... there you go....
-
Machines = efficient :p
-
As for the stuff written on the monument, Seraph commented on stuff being hidden on the Hypercube monument. Neurophyte helped us analyze a lot of the graffiti on the monument and hinted that there might be clues at other monuments as well.
-
Didn't that have something do with the 7 sins? Just earlier I was reminded of how Mara breeds ignorance or whatever and keeps you away from the true path of enlightenment with distractions, and I was thinking how Mara Central lives up to it's name.
