Title: DN1 WTF?

From what I'm gathering, SOE posted information as to what will happen in the coming days as it pertains to this event.  If you're worried about spoilers, do not click these links.  It might be safe not to jack in at all until the event is over.  People are griping in the forums as well as in-game.

But others are saying this is a rehash of what's already happened.  I don't recall some of the events mentioned in those transmissions ever happening, though.

Then again, this might not be a mistake on Sony's part.  Everything in the matrix has its purpose, afterall.

I would think these were suppose to be on a time delay and some how that time delay got triggered for all of them. I just love all the complaining people do. SOE is damn when they do, and damned when they don't.

There has got to be someone on the inside at sony that doesn't want this game to progress.  It seems that ever since they took over little things have been sneaking out by "accident."   Zen Master, Mobius Code, these story posts...

I don't think anyone at Sony is that dumb.  There's no way Sony could get to where it is today if even one top employee held such a mindset.  You make money by beating your competitors, not by destroying your own products.

On the other hand, Sony isn't exactly lifting the couch cushions to look for spare change.  They certainly can afford to lose this game.  I'm just trying to keep optimistic about all this.

Looks like they've fixed the problem.  The transmissions have been removed from DN1.

so the big win in this event is finding the hardline to the barge in the previous cinematic.  someone is supposed to make it there to kill the assassin.

also, those that land killing blows to the assassin at the 3 locations mentioned in the leak will recieve some kind of mask from seraph.

from the messages i would gather that the HL to the barge will be near a club.  most obvious would be sanguine in Moriah.  not sure if their is a  new HL there or not.  my guess would be that there may be a patch or whatever to put it into game, but not until saturday or sunday.  there may be more clues that are not already released between now and then that lead us to the location.
