This newspaper clipping has been meticulously razored from out of the newspaper and pasted onto a sheet of white paper which is 3-hole punched, as if it was intended for inclusion for a scrapbook. "LOCAL TREES CURED. Botanists are declaring victory over a blight that had rendered many local trees bereft of their leaves and in danger of dying from a disease carried by a French beetle. The insects were accidentally released by careless lab workers and carried a disease for which our city's trees had no defense. After a concentrated effort, botanists found a way to cure the condition and helicopters have been spraying the agent locally to return the city's greenery to normal.

That just sounds like it's alluding to the Assassin's death and the fly virus to me

yeah in case you guys havent ever talked to pedestrians, they do have clues about the story, they have been talking about how the trees have been dead since like a month before launch.
