So i'm drunk and watching revolutions and start to think...
it is widely accepted that RK was the assassin. my question is:
what was his purpose for returning to the matrix? why did he need the Merv's help? didn't he already succeed in bringing Sati in? why return to the Matrix to kill Morpheus? i know all the backstory about how the assassin was brought over by the Merv, but took it upon himself to use the kill code bullet, or whatever.
Why?
he was scheduled for deletion after discovering something regarding trinity's corpse. but why return to the matrix as an exhile with the purpose of destroying it? i've never quite understood this part of the story. he talks about love, or the equivalent of it. why the desire to destroy after he succeded in bringing Sati into the Matrix? if he destroys the matrix, he destroys Sati. if the assassin was RK, why all this?

so after finishing the movie for the billionth time, the matrix doesn't seem so hard to understand. some things that always confused me, (along with many others) was the gold code. no doubt about it: the gold code is related to the machines. J.C. I've read all kinds of theories about this, but know it seems so obvious. a couple of beers does wonders. quite obviously the gold code is tied to the machines and the source. (no need for explanation here...watch revolutions) We see Seraph in gold. seraph is tied to the source. seraph "protects that which matters most....."
the oracle...at first.
at first she was what mattered most...to the machines. (remember seraph and gold code= machines/source)
well, the oracle managed to guide Neo into the path of peace. that was her goal. and seraph protected her. then he protected sati. she could make the sunrise...for neo...for peace. the sun as a power source =the machines no longer needing humanity as a power source.
it can't be this simple, can it?

RK is not the Assassin. Give it up folks. He would not risk his daughter's deletion.

and Seraph is a exile so he is not tied to the source.

i don't know. seraph does have a purpose. it seemed kind of obvious watching Revolutions that the gold code had to do with the machines.
i can buy RK not being the assassin, even though they seemed to both have the same or similiar job in the machine world.
