Feel free to post any frustrations or praises concerning the event here; go ahead, let it all out.
On the bright side I think we did great job staying organized and motivated, but man oh man some of the bugs could just lodge a painful splinter in your spine.

Just listening to TS brought back memories of the masked man base attack event.

The lag was understandable, what I couldnt stand was the asshats FORSAKEN *ahem* being total morons and ruining anything to do with this event. I should have seen it coming.

Yeah, the area hacks were a major downer. I don't understand what's in it for these assclowns trying to ruin enjoyment for everyone else during events.

Stepping back and looking at the bigger picture, spawning npcs to drop blue frags to get nothing but a t-shirt/hat makes me think instead of "Security" it should say "I got 8 blue frags and all I got was this stupid T-Shirt!"
Hopefully the plot will thicken tomorrow.

I had a good time, would have been better if I have already lvled up to 50 and had money to lvl my hyper deflect all the way. But yeah it was fun and I got my security shirt!

I would speculate that such a precariously placed item such as a specialized t-shirt and hat would carry some amount of significance, especially if it is so difficult to attain. Seems logical to me.
I know for a fact the Blue Sky Shirt/Hat has to have some amount of significance. There has to be a reason why "Water Resistant" was so pointedly asserted. Just my thoughts.

Those assholes w/ the area hacksare really pissing me off. When 1 of mine hit one of them it was 4-5 on me at once killing me saying my area hack was dissrupting the event for them...(Jokerz and Foresaken).
I was killed 7 times in Bathary Row andMurasaki by insertion and outlaw, and when i asked WTF the responce was ask a certain member of FA. These assholes ruin every event for us and every other zion member because they can't pvp or win an event for shit, and wait until we are being over run w/ npc's and then start attacking us so they can win or get the item. I'd like to find each one of them put there face to the ground and a brick on the back of their skull and stomp it into the fucking ground!....I feel better now that i vented. :S

I just wish the devs would put a little variety into this. Since the event started (6 hours ago at the time of me writing this) it's just been going from one park to the next to turn off these spotlights and badmouthing the security guards.

someday they'll have an event that requires brains and is exclusive to the first people who figure it out (24 hour window for example). Then as each day progresses potentially fewer and fewer people will get to the end, and when they do, not only do they get recognition, but they actually change the outcome of the event based on their org, ie mervs win, then something in the storyline changes to benefit mervs or hell even possibly make it that "winning" an event actually hurts your org/faction within the storyline making events juicy and rewarding as well as dangerous and harmful. Now that's some intrigue.
Will any of this ever happen?

Im pretty sure I remember a dev on the mxo boards said that this event would rivial the end of beta. Maybe I set my hopes to high?

So.. since I missed beta... and I missed 99% of this event...
I am judging by the comments that it was NOTHING compared to the end of beta event

Really truely if you guys look at it, the event wasnt bad at all. Look at other games they get nothing like this if they had this event in there game they would be like OMG that is the awesomest thing ever! We are just spoiled with our old LET and all the stuff they did where they were able to have tons of people running around the city at the same time on all servers etc. Now if you ask me I had fun during this event, it got me back in the game to play which I havent really been doing last couple months.
Edit: It was no where near the awesomeness of end of Beta but that will probley never be matched.
Edit2: plus after all the post event looking over that is going on it appears there is still more to this event just not at this moment....cause think about it, it was said we would be able to get the items a few weeks after this weekend, thus meaning the concert sites stilll there, thus meaning they still have a purpose.

The SOE devs had huge shoes to fill once the LET was fired. I can't imagine it being an easy job, so I don't want to rag on them too much. But I did find it odd that we were turning the lights off in order to stay "awake". :)

That's shitty that it was so bad, but I could have guessed it the second they posted that blue sky image that looked like it was made in MS Paint... though other games don't get these events, they were never promised them. We were, and supposedly monthly. We waited and waited and it wasn't really worth it from what I heard.
