Italy wins the 2006 Fifa World Cup in penalties, 5-3. Regulation score was 1-1.

...Did I mention that France lost?

I would like to point out that only one other team even came close to beating Italy........ AMERICA! FUCK YEAH! (come to save the muthafuckin day yeah!)

and they weren't even given the luxury of penalty kicks, so who knows! btw my buddy Devon McTavish plays for DC United, so all you brits in the crowd don't knock American soccer.

I need to watch the game.  Stupid work and all during the game.  Oh well, cable box recorded the whole thing in Hi-Def.  And btw...the majority of the American team doesn't even play in the US.  Why? Cause US soccer is poor compared to European leagues.  My favorite part of the whole World Cup was listening to the idiotic announcers who obviously didn't take enough time to understand the rules of the game.
