Post by: Ash on August 08, 2006, 08:46:38 pm: That's right boys and girls I'm breaking loose of this one horse town and making my way to London for the next 10 days (technically I leave Friday but I doubt I'll have much time to play between now and then) My girl's got a friend getting married and we thought we'd expand on our time there and turn it into a mini-vacation. I'm even getting to see my ancestral home in Scotland. (Su-weet)

So I'm taking a break from this hot weather and going to a place that's gonna top out at 70 degrees the whole time I'm there, gotta luv that. I'd buy you all souvenirs but the postage is ex-pen-sive (especially when you don't know the address)

While I'm there I'll be sporting this new, hip khaki hat that is all the rage.

So for those who call London home, be on the lookout. (Props to NoCry for the skinny on places to go and see)

Now if you're wondering about the hat I had one specially made to suite my own tastes, if you like it I'm sure a copy can be made.

I hope nothing too important occured during my absence.
Looks like I came back just in time for update 46; just as I had planned. ha.

London was great, Scotland was even better (I'm sooo moving there)
I'm going through the 450 plus pictures I took now and will be posting the best ones online in case anyone is interested.

I'll save the full story for another post I just wanted to give a quick shout out for my return.

One quick thought about the UK: Big-brother is WAY too popular over there. (Pete was hilarious (turretts aside)) and You guys have chips (fries) with WAY too many foods. I ordered a pizza one night at a restaurant and they gave me a side of fries with it, they came with everything, even salads. Oh and OMG the bling-bling cars....let's see I saw 3 lamborghini's, 5 ferrari's, 4 aston martins, and about 100 or so RR's, Bentleys, and Range Rover Sports...that is insane.
