Are there plans to make plans for the next featurette? Broin, still willing to work on one? Any ideas for plot? I ask because I was just listening to a few tracks off the requiem for a dream, and 28 days later soundtrack and thought a few of them would be perfect for a mxo film. The version of the main theme "Lux Aeterna" may be a version from the lord of the rings version, but it's a bit harder than the one in RfaD... very dramatic.
So any ideas?

There are several good versions of Lux from the RfaD Remix Project album fooz, let me know if you want them. Which were you after from 28 Days? In The House In A Heartbeat?
-
send me copies of the songs and I'll take a look... I always have things in mind and am actually working on getting a side project strated, but until my system is rock solid again I'm going to hold off.

There's 2. I can add more when I get home later.

hey broin, if you need any editing help, i just got a brand new mac for all my movie editing purposes. I can litterally do just about anything you could imagine with it...so just let me know. It's what I love to do so i'd love to help.

WOW... Requiem for a Dream = one awesome song. Giving me all kinds of ideas. However I have to get FRAPS back and get my other hard drive set up before I can even think about that.

Check that link again if you need fraps.

hmmm everyone associates the acutal Furious angel song with us .... its basically our theme song. I think that should be incorporated in some way if only in a small piece it could be incorporated into another song just a little 1 to 2 second clip .... i guess what im thinking of is how they added part of the superman theme into the movie as you saw superman at certain times. Something like that maybe?
-
We did that with our first video though.

Ya. Sometimes is good to revisit the past but its better to adventure. I say the Dream song is the main one for the new vid. Hell ive listened to it ... 323 times already... is that sad?

Not at all Sorrows, Lux is one of my all time favorites, if I'm lucky enough to get a funeral that'll be playing when they bury my empty box :D

I don't think he means a total music video like the first movie. I think his idea is more of a power theme. At important or poignant moments, the song would kick up ever so slightly, with precise lyric selections. Like a theme song, but not overtly so.
As in (strictly hypothetical)... main music is going in the background, one of the Angels gets knocked/shot to the ground. The background main theme stops when he/she hits the floor to make a dramatic effect. The camera rotates around the Angel's face, in the back the Rob Dougan song fades in ever so slowly, it finally gets just loud enough for us to hear "And if you go, Furious Angels will bring you back to me." (from around 3:20-ish in the song. During this little bit, the Angel is sitting in mood hurt? As the music progresses, it implies that the Angel on the ground is making a decision, especially if there is a way to superimpose emotes on the face. (trick camera angles perhaps?) anyway, the Angel gets up as the song fades out. And as he/she begins to kick ass, the origional main music comes back, full force from a downbeat, to imply that he/she is back in the game.
The whole process has a flashback effect, or suggests a personal moment of "I have to keep going, I have a purpose, I'm a Furious Angel g*^#$$(*^it! I have to remember that" etc.
So, just a hint of the song I think. Just enough to remind people that we have our own theme song :)

I respectfully disagree. I think it's been done, and would break the continuity of a scene. Remember, we're only dealing with about 3-7 minutes here. That's not enough for a lot fo cutting of music. Now if I could get just the lyrics of the cong I can splice it with almost any other music with ease, but I think there are better options for the shorts we make.
-
hah its sad that we spend so much time filming those and then broin editing it and it is only a few min long :(
-
But I think the quality that comes out in those few minutes are supurb! Plus a few minutes is really all that we've needed for the plots we've done.
-
You have me there, Fuse. 5-7 mins is a little short for music/scene cutting.
Maybe one day, with the Furious Angels first full-length feature film! Lol, just kidding.
