i agree with it; it is some way to reward the dedicated! (and those who are desparate for HJBeta!)

Sounds good; as far as I know, EQ2 and EQ1 do this frequently, and I think SWG might do it as well.
That would be awesome if we could get a badass Beanie cap or an all-class Sweep ability (similar to the way Mobius Code functions).

SWG does it I know and they are shweet awards, I hope they give us one too :D

No offense, I'd rather have them work on content rather than a Vet System. If we had a full dev force, I'd be all for it, but this game needs a major injection of content, and the content of a Vet System does not adequate to the time spent versus the outcome. Sure, it'd be nice to have Rewards, but I'd rather them focus on a Quest System or Org Abilities. There's just so much more that they can do with those instead of Vet Rewards.
