Title: eve-online trial
Post by: Anonymous on October 02, 2006, 04:41:07 pm
Yeah I just came across this game Eve-Online, and saw some cool ship designs and decided I'd share this trial with the rest of the faction, since I'll give it be giving it a go for the next 2 weeks..

Apparently there's a lot to learn, and it takes a while to get used to, but it gets cool once you figure it out.

The different faction territories, Band of Brothers and Ascendant Frontier are at war right now:

If you can actually pilot those huge capital ships I would be very happy.

I already played through the 14 day trial once, the trail period really doesn't give you enough time to get into the game.  I did manage to buy 4 different ships in the 14 days.  The coolest thing I think is the fact that leveling skills is real time based.  This means you can log on for 2 minutes select the next skill to train and log off, come back after the required amount of time(after about level 4-6 everything takes over a week to train) and it will be done.  And to answer your question you can pilot the large ships.

There's a lot to it. Took maybe an hour and a half - 2 hours just for the tutorial.

I made a character named LORD ELROY cuz i was trying to make a character as fast as possible, due to the fact that for some reason I kept crashing while making a character my first time I played.
