Title: Tbone's Radio Show
Post by: Tbone on November 26, 2006, 12:40:17 am
Well, I guess I'll give you guys the option of tuning into this, since I'm always talking about my acting and none of you actually see me in action. This radio station is playing the "radio show" that is made in the show "It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Show". I'm starring as George Bailey, so you can hear my wonderful voice throughout the whole thing. Hopefully it won't suck too bad - I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. You have to tune in at a special time.

The broadcast will be available online today starting at 2pm Central Standard Time. Click here (http://mfile.akamai.com/16163/live/reflector:32366.asx?bkup=32367%20) to stream the radio station. If you miss it today, you're only other chance is Christmas Eve at 2 pm again. Let me know if any of you decide to tune in. If anything, it's an opportunity to make fun of me. Heh.

If you missed the broadcast, I'm making my bootleg copy available for a brief time to those still interensted. I'll probably take it down after a few days, though. Please do not share with anyone on the "outside". Here's the file:

Man, this is really good. I can't stop listening. I found it kind of funny at first, but that was because Tbone sounds so much different than on TS.

I really need to stop listening, but I don't want to because it's really good.

That was wonderful Tbone, if I could afford it, I'd be on a plane to see you all on stage.  I'll be listening again, with the family on Christmas Eve. /standing ovation

Wow, thanks for tuning in guys. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think it's worth noting that all the sound effects and music cues are done by the actors on the stage. So all the footsteps or rings or even the background music is done or cued by the actors. Because I'm in the scenes so much, the only sound effect that I was really able to do was the cork pop at the end that I did with my mouth...heh.

For those who missed it, I was able to successfully bootleg it. Hehe. I'll make it available for a short time, but I probably won't leave it up forever in order to avoid copyright crap.

"The role of George Bailey is played by **** **********..."

It must be nice to have your name come first in the credits, lol.

Well done, Tbone. Clear, well intentioned... it must be a weird feeling using only your voice. I do love listening to your voice though :) it has such a soothing, rich quality to it.

You too? and I thought I was the only one... do you have a picture of him by your nightstand that you talk to... I know I do... or maybe you have a shrine o' tbone... that actually sounds like a good idea. *oozes stalker vibe*
