So.. this is my first attempt at vectoring an image.. I couldn't get the background quite right so I left it as is and instead concentrated on the girl.. this is the first one I did and kinda did it by testing and fixing.. the PDF file the layers are a MESS but it still turned out pretty good in my opinion.. let me know what you think.. I will put a side by side comparison of the real image vs the Vectored image... comments, suggestions, criticisms are all appreciated.

Good work man! Nice idea to use a SG as a base template to vector. :)
BTW, the pen tool is God's way of telling us "WHAT the hell are you thinking?"
-
I love that it was a SG, I like it. And I can't wait till A Scanner Darkly is out on DVD.

That was a good idea to leave the background 'as-is'. It makes the foreground stick out all the more.
Very nice.

Ah, Vectoring...I had to do this once for a class in College (It was a Graphics course, duh) and I kind of defeated the purpose of it all because I had vectored so much detail into it that when you hid and revealed the layers you could barely tell it was vectored. My teacher told me it kind of defeats the purpose to go into that much detail, but I got an "A" :D
Vector is a good way of digitally inking lineart, as well
