Title: MEDIC!
Post by: Anonymous on March 01, 2007, 02:14:18 am: I spoke with Turret last night and got some of the initial sketching done on my piece. I wasn't going to show it until it was finished but I figured you'd like to see the work-in-progress if you're thinking of getting your own done at some stage.

Now, I gave Zack a pretty vague idea of what I saw happening in the shot and he came back with his initial sketch. Within half an hour of us discussing some tweaks to it he managed to give me the exact image I had in my head using nothing but a few reference shots and some background info - this man IS talented, don't doubt it.

Zack and I are both pretty psyched about this one; I made it clear I didn't want an "action" shot and he was happy to oblige and get to do something different. This will be his first drawing using his new gfx tablet and his first to use the Matrix code in the finished item. Without further ado, the first three files I have been given...

Even if it is just in the sketching stages. I wish i had an ounce of that talent. hehe Can't wait to see the finished project.

I was thinking of a scene from the last time I properly PVPd with you lot and was team recalling/patching in a building at Mara C. To me that was the most useful role I could have had and I was really happy doing it, so I wanted the drawing to reflect that.

I mentioned that the nose didn't look right, needed more defintion - so here's the altered version:

Zack seems to be constantly checking and re-checking the work so often I expect he finds and fixes these things himself, but nonetheless he has been very consultative. Here's the first signs of color:
