Title: Furious Angels Poker Tournament
Post by: Lithium on January 08, 2008, 07:03:16 pm: I'm bringing up the idea to have a Furious Angels exclusive poker tournament for members of FA. The game is Texas Hold'em, it will be approximately a $5.50 buyin and will be played tournament style on PokerStars.

I'll update this section as we discuss.

Where: PokerStars.com (non negotiable)
When: TBD
Game: No-Limit Texas Hold'em
Buyin: $5 + .50 rake
Payout: 3-27 Players, Top 3 Split 50/30/20
Blinds: Increase every 15 minutes. 1500 starting chips.

The most difficult challenge will be getting bankrolled. While I prefer that you fund thru pokerstars, I understand that it might be difficult, therefore I can discreetly fund thru PayPal and transfer funds thru pokerstars.

Let me know if there is an interest in this and when a good time would be.

Mondays Wednesdays and Thursdays are a no go for me but any other night I'm good.

Post by: Lithium on January 11, 2008, 02:23:33 pm: Ok, I updated the original post with some more information on payouts and blind increase times. Pretty much these all are static things that I won't be able to adjust.

I think we all agree on the buyin and now we need a set date and time. If we want to hold this after a Vector Challenge that's alright with me but if the tourney starts are x-time we have to run it at x-time. Can't delay it if our event lasts longer.

Also the sooner we get a date set, the sooner I can create the tourney, get people registered, and will give us more prep time to fund people who need to be funded.
