Title: Time for a change
Post by: Anonymous on January 30, 2008, 03:48:41 pm
I'm sorry to say that I've decided to go my own way in this game, thanks for everything you guys have given me during my time in FA.I've played this game for many years and I'd like to explore it further, by trying new affiliations. I have  thoroughly enjoyed my time here at FA.But i am starting to get tired of the zerg( not the FA one just the overral mass amount of zions)
my main enjoyment in this game is PVP and with Zion i can't express it fully as i always have a zerg behind me.I will miss being in FA I'll even miss Nocry! :P I'll miss sporting the sexy uni and just overral being in FA but my time has come i have thought it through, I am going to part ways with the Zion cause and try the toasters

I'll have fun ganking you.

BTW, he's already mech for those of you who haven't been shot at by him.

That's too bad. It's never a good feeling to help someone, put time and resources into helping them reach their potential, and welcome them into the family to have them betray you and use your own support against you.

Well, thanks for being honest. We consider ourselves to be a dedicated bunch. I won't harbor ill feelings as long as you respect our privacy. You will, however, become my number one target. If you want the thrill of a challenge, you'll get it.

Don't forget your roots...

That's swell seeing someone leave, especially someone who's been in for a while. I supported you in PVP. I supported you in farming for items. I supported you by helping you out in game. You stay in FA for as long as you play the game once you get in. You don't leave to go to another faction. You don't leave because you're sick of Zerging, only to go to the Machines where you can zerg when no Zion are online. You stay in FA until the game shuts down or you personally quit. I'm really disappointed.

Rogan said he was running Archive Missions recently. Remember how he kept us from farming for the Overdrive because he had to finish this really long Archive Mission? I think he was actually running Machine missions to get his reputation up. I saw him running around as a Machine tonight without a crew or faction.

Is there any way that I can re-listen to his interview? I'd like to listen for any signs of him turning on us...

Oh well I'll state this right now Never and I repeat never will I leave this faction why would anyone do such a thing.  There are so many good guys here that im proud to be affiliated with that leaving the group would be leaving them as well.  In any case he is now kill on sight.  I dont necessarily have any hard feelings towards him but he wanted to see what its like to be red... I say we show him ;)

I didn't want to say it until I saw his handle revert to "Guest", but that's just a total slap in the face to everyone here.  What a load of bullshit.

I can understand leaving because you're bored of the game in general.  I can understand leaving to join a different faction.  Opinions and such do change from time to time.  But leaving to join another org because you're bored?  Did we really spoil his fun to that extent?

Let's show him how much fun it is on the other side of the zerg.  Good riddance.  :\

I would've rathered it if he'd made an alt and used that as his Mech character tbh. Shame, Rogan was in GoZ back in the day.

That's fucked up. O well, he'll quickly learn that its much better to be on our side of the Zerg.

Currently, operation Kill RoganClark is at a stalemate. While I have been able to score several kills on him. The time of day which he logs on is prime time for several reds (and by several I counted about 12 at mara central). So I was killed several times in the process of trying to take out Rogan.

What this means is, the best time of day to kill Rogan is between the hours of 11:00AM and 6:00PM FA time.

I know it's hard for people to make it on during those times, but I would especially love to double or triple snipe that turncoat.

Hey guys... I just wanted to let you know that I'm coming back into game.  Can you help me level up to 50 so I can drop out of FA and become a Mero?  I've always wanted some of the delicious-looking chocolate cake. :p

Thought you'd all like to know that Rogan enlisted the help of his new found butt buddies to log into our teamspeak server and trash talk us in game (ie "Furious Fags" "lol nice TS").

Main Culprits:
HutchieJNR
Brommerz77

So those of you who felt that Rogan would be amicable guessed wrong.

As well, Rogan has not left the tit of any healer or sneak attacker yet. If you see him standing alone, chances are good he has at least one other in sneak waiting to knife/snipe you.

That takes time and work.. if you are going to flip sides like that it isn't because he is bored... its because he was toooo lazy to care to make an alt.. maybe that would have satisfied his "boredom" starting from the bottom and having to fight your way up to 50 again, I guess its much easier to level up with the "Zion Zerg" and then flip....... oh well and good riddance.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but giving our TS info out to reds is not what I consider to be a respectable departure. You just can't trust this guy. Don't trash talk...they want to rub this in for us...just kill em over and over again and ignore everything else.

hum didnt think he would try to intrude in our ts server. Giving our server info out to reds is massively out of order. Shame. Can we not assign a password to the server?

It is pretty much "protected". That is why we have the Welcome or Guest Channel that everyone is defaulted into. Without a user login they cannot change channels or cause much harm. The TS server isn't hard to find regardless, it is just followtheangel.org, it took the reds to needing a spy to figure it out, hehehehe.

2 new users registered for the challenge this week, 1 new user right now in the Bloop forums - earlier 3 guests.  Guess we're going to be REAL vigilant with who gets to interview so we don't end up taking one of these dumbfucks, or rejecting a valid player.

Please guys, if anyone approaches you for assistance with the challenge be very careful how much help you provide and if possible refer them to me since I will insist on meeting them in-game for any discussion.

There's absolutely no reason to believe a word he said at the start of this thread.  He's always been pretty buddy-buddy with the reds on DN1, which was probably an early indicator.  He obviously doesn't miss being in FA, and he obviously does want to pvp with the zerg, just not the Zion zerg.  The fact that he brought the reds into our TS to harass us is proof of the kind of guy he is.

Hopefully he'll show up to the next VC, and we can show him what it's like to be on the other side.

I'm quite friendly with a few reds; Yasa, Influx (I think he left), Galador (until he went wacko-jacko), Teivel, Denary and sometimes Tnus.

I'm sorry, but telling people our TS Server addy is below the fucking belt. I'll personally be throwing my most mangy and diseased sheep at the haggis loving bastard.

Yeah, he claims he was bored of the Zerg, but apparently he hides out all day until his red buddies come online. Everytime I've attacked him, he's had at least 5-6 friends there with him.

Yeah, Rogan is at least smart enough to use the numbers to his advantage.

So be aware of these things when pvping against Rogan.

-He always has at least another mech with him somewhere (usually hutchiejnr, brommerz77)
-When possible he will have hutchiejnr will recall him and buff any mech to the brim (upgrade master, ct 1.0, movement 3.0, etc)

So don't ever go into a fight against Rogan or his butt buddies and assume they're not buffed and alone or you'll end up dead.

Da6onet and I managed to kill him a multiple times last night. The funny part was, they knew that we were sniping, so FOUR of them loaded heals (crappy heals, not Anamodiel heals) and started to heal each other over and over. Da6onet and I double sniped Rogan and took him out three times before he finally decided to just log off. That was pretty sweet. XD
