Well I've decided to upgrade my old ati radeon x1300pro. Just want to be able to run the game with no video lag at a nice high graphics setting. Ill be getting a GeForce 9500GT. Check it out tell me your opinions if ya want. http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_9500gt_us.html Im getting the ddr3 version. According to their benchmark ill get a 400% increase in graphics performance. My old card ran 2 eve online accounts no prob. Well should arrive the 26th of this month. Yeaaa :P

It depends on the rest of your system too. What are all the specs? Not sure want to go that low in the 9xxx series. What's your budget for a new vid card?

I got this computer two years ago. Its a Dell Dimensions E521. Running AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual core 5000+. That runs at 2.61 GHz. Upgraded the ram full up to 4 gigs but because its windows xp 32 bit i only can get 3.25 out of that ram. I already got the card. It was 70 bucks. I am on a strict budget at the moment and thats about my limit for a new card. I read a few reviews and watch some you tube reviews that all gave really high marks to the card. My only concern is that my system is PCIe 1.0 and the card is 2.0. While I know its backwards compatable Im just worried that the PCIe 1.0 will lower the performance, thou im not sure.

Nice link. Good reviews. The card is listed on the low end of gaming cards. Given that it is still over double what I currently have. That is my personal standard for upgrading. I want to double the processing power. The links to prices look good but trust me, I do my research on things. All of those are not the card I got. I got the 512MB DDR3 version of the card. Those listed at the lower proces are the lower ram and ddr2 version. If you compair the ddr2 and the ddr3 version at the link above you can see a nice increase in performance.

I've got an old 4800+ clocked to like 2.7 or 2.8. And I have two overclocked 8800GTs in SLI and well the second one barely helps at all, I get a 1000 more on 3dmark06. (and it fucks up more games than it helps but I got it for the cool factor cause it was cheap) But... the CPU pretty much bottlenecks. My point is the 5000+ will bottleneck about the same place, more than likely, so no sense in going crazy. I think the 9800 was the tiny follow up to the 8800 and they are all budgety now. I play everything at 1080p on a 32" and it's nice for most games.
For the new high end cards ($400+ cards) I hate to say it, but, you really need the new Intels. Triple memory lane is a big deal. AMD just hasn't kept up imo, very disappointing.
