Please list your in game Darkfall name that you are going to be using, whether you have pre-ordered yet, plan on preordering, or what step in the pre order you are on.  Also include your Race and main skill focus you are going to go towards.  ie Magic, Melee, Ranged, etc.

Sorry to combobreak:

Keep in mind guys, these names gotta be kinda easy to type... as of right now you have to type /party_invite_player firstname lastname

Also not a fan of the last name tbone.  :P  I liked angelo better.

Guys please make sure you have a first and last name picked for the game.  Figure it out NOW, before you go into the game on launch day and have to sit around for 5-10 minutes trying to determine what you want your name to be.

Either melee,magic, or most likely a combination of the two. I've recently tried the magic system and it appeals to me, so I may or may not include magic into my character build. For now though I'm gonna be a melee.

I know I have posted this in two other threads but I'm putting it in here as well..


VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT

If you are having problems with the billing information screen then my suggestion to you is to START OVER NOW.

The system seems to be working better now.  You will need to create a new account.  update that new account.  Make sure you sign on with the new account name at the login screen.  

YES GO TO THE ACCOUNT LOG ON SCREEN AND USE THE NEW USER NAME AND PASSWORD DO NOT USE THE LINK IN THE EMAIL THEY SEND YOU.  

I created a new account and was able to update it in 5 minutes and am now ready to order the game on release day.

very odd; when i log into the account page it tells me that I have succesfully pre-ordered. I downloaded the torrent, installed it and now when i click on it it says incorrect username/ password. Any thoughts?

Actually the random generated one I saw was bluefeather. I used a little creativity and changed it.

:D  I do kinda like the idea of uniformity with last names.  It's like on Halo when you see people with names that all relate to each other, you know that they play together all the time and are dedicated to their team so much so that they even self sacrificed some of their individuality to have team names.  And you pay $55 a year to get online with THAT name, so it's always a little intimidating to me to see they have that kind of loyalty/dedication.

I agree that having the same last name show's a tremendous amount of solidarity and strength in a clan but you have to think about the folks that will be joining our faction months and years from now with a character they've already created and been playing on for awhile.  Are we going to make them re-roll their character?  Will they feel less like true members of the clan because they don't have our same last name?

Just something to think about.

True.  Also, from a Role-playing aspect, if we are a group of people come together for a similar purpose, I don't think we'd all be family members, haha.  Me and Tbone are brothers in real life, but in game it's different.  I could see 2 or 3 "brothers" joining the clan, but not the whole clan being one big family.
