Anyone who has enjoyed the philosophy of "The Matrix", I know will be sucked into this movie.
http://www.whatthebleep.com/
If any movie were ever to be called a HOWTO guide on bending or wielding the matrix to your will, this would be it.
Be prepared for some Quantum Phsyics!
It's only playing in select theaters but I'm sure you guys can find it somehow if it's not in your area. The site has info on it.
All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think, we become.
- Maharishi Mahesh Yogi
The power of Thought, the magic of the Mind!
- Lord Byron
All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force⦠We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.
- Max Planck, Nobel Prize-winning Father of Quantum Theory

That looks like one of the dumbest movies...

That looks like one of the dumbest movies...
Dude, seriously... You have no idea how wrong you are.
Don't be so ignorant. Open that mind a little.
-
But, where is the key to open the lock to my mind?
-
heh I fixed it. Sorry! Got post happy. But really... You should check it out. I have only seen it once... but I think I barely skimmed the surface. I need to go see it a few more times. Any of those who watch it... Let me know what you think... I would like to discuss it.
-
Just watched the trailer. Interesting, if not kinda just plain freaky. I have one close, and so I may check it out. :)
-
Looks interesting, too bad i cant get to any showings yet.
-
Looks good, lol @ the little green guys in the fat guys stomach. It looks like a wierd film, any wierd film, i have to see it, the wierder the better. Also Sex Drugs and Gratuitous violence help.
-
That looks pretty interesting, although ridiculously low-budget and small.
The trailer doesn't really tell much about whether it will be interesting.
Sorry, I saw this trailer right after watching the Spider Man 2 trailer, which seems so much more exciting....
Oh the choices....
-
It's an indie film. It's not super low budget but still... it's a documentary.
In any case... You will not regret it if you go out of your way to see it.
-
There's nothing wrong with low budget. As was pointed out in BULWORTH, money only makes movies turn into crap.
Just look at the Matrix sequels.
-
Oh, come on, lets not start this again.
Seem's interesting. I might go out and see it.....
*Opens bittorrent....*
-
Maybe it's on suprnova! :)
-
Suprnova is good but the download speeds are just way too slow if you want to download a movie...
-
Are you behind a router? If so do you have all the port forwarding settings setup?
Google it.
-
Yes I have a router but no idea how to change forwarding settings.
-
What brand router?
-
Ok I have a grey smaller box by D Link and then a big black blue box by Linksys, my internet providor is Telus.
Pretty sure the bigger box is the router.
-
Google knows all my friend. It'll drastically increase your BT performance.
-
Theres a reason for the PM system....
-
is there? :P
-
off topic:
omfg likwid nice avatar. gotta have more cowbell!
-
always more cowbell. will ferell is a comedy genius.
-
Except for Anchorman. That was, well, forgettable.
Wait for the DVD guys.
-
Likwid maybe for those of us that can't go out and see it you can tell us a bit of what;s it about? Like maybe a little summary of what you do know?
-
The site has a pretty good synopsis. Check it out. It's really about (my take) how you can apply the rules of Quantum Physics to your own life. Manifesting your own reality. Anyway you want. Essentially bending and wielding the matrix to your will.
It goes into great detail aout how this is possible⦠all the way down the the atomic, cellular and molecular level.
If you are a geek and enjoy learning. This movie is for you.
-
Illuvatar == DoubleOhZero?
-
What!? What the hell are you talkingabout?
-
Back on topic, low budget in movies dosen't mean ne thing, have u seen the El Mariachi Series?
The fisrt one was brilliant and was made with $10,000 the Second 2 Desperado and Once Upon a time in mexico had big stars and bigger budgets, but they didn't live up to the first one, if you dont believe me then go watch em all.
-
Yeah, El Mariachi kicks ass. IMO, the best indie film ever. I had no idea Desperado and Once Upon a Time were part of that series.
-
So has anyone seen what the bleep? I'm excited to discuss this with some of you.
-
It seems like they are ignoring you likwidtek. I'll check out the site and stuff and see if its near me. I'll let you know if I do see it or whatever.
-
It's a pretty great movie. A real eye opener.
-
I'd see it but I don't think it's playing anywhere close to me.
-
Yeah....need to be closer! And have a damn car! DAMN the age of 16! DAMN IT to hell - and beyond!
-
