Don't let Theios see this thread... he'll try to convert everyone here to Macromedia Fireworks!

Ahem...and why would you say that?

and yes, I do use Macromedia, and happen to like it quite well, but Photoshop is a great program.

Yeah and Photoshop has so many features and is really fun to just explore.

Also the most tutorials out there are made for Photoshop.

Btw, likwidtek, your avatar is really fun to watch while listening to music with a beat.

hey, can someone fill me in on how to use cracks.  i got the photoshop trial version, and i downloaded a crack for it, but i don't know exactly what i'm supposed to do.  i copied the files from the crack to the folder where i installed photoshop (c:/program files/adobe/photoshop cs) but it still gives me a countdown till my trial runs out.

Anyone got a plugin or tutorial on cutting parts of a image and then making those areas transparent so that you can see the background of the website the signature is on?

Just turn of the background layer, and anything you erase will leave the background visible.

@ Enoc, The crack is usually a fixed No-CD Exe file.  You need to find out where you installed Adobe to and replace the existing .exe file with that one, then it should work.  That's how it usually works with my experiance cracking games anyway, I'm not sure if it's the same for applications like that.

well the cracks i've downloaded are just a couple of .dll files and a text file that says to copy the dll files to the install dir.  i did that but it still won't work.

hybrid:  did you get the photoshop cs trial, and then the crack for it?  how did you do it?

I've still got my zipped file of Photoshop 7.0 that I downloaded a whle back if anybody still wants it. It comes with a CD key that will unlock all the features and get rid of the trial. Hit me up on AIM and I'll send it to you one night while we sleep.

goob, i'll take that PS 7.0 zip.  I was going to download it anyways, it might be faster through you.

This where you find out Goob has 28.8 dial-up.

This is also where you learn that some cracks are written by losers pretending to be 1337 hax0rs and plain don't work

Enoc, IM me next time you get on. I've got a cable modem (not 28.8 :)), so we can just do it one night before you go to bed.
