I just got a $200 guitar from my friend for like...40 bucks. Right place at the right I guess heh. Anyone else here play the guitar, or any other instruments? I started playing a few months ago, but wow...it works wonders to let off some steam with.

Might as well tell yall what kinda music im into.

Pretty much Rock, Alternative, Indy, *some* rap.

I got a guitar too, a B.C. Rich Warlock, cost me $300, but it came with an amp. I'm ok at it. I'm the best at saxophone, i took it for 3 years in school, but i can also play the drums.

I am also into rock, metal, punk, and 80's rock, its all good.

Up the Maidens! Metal/anything fan here.  I can play the guitar and the drums, I got an old spanish classical and a nasty old drum kit.

Fender Strat and a Martin X-Series Thin Body acoustic (OOCXAE). Plug into a Crate Amp for practice, and a system consisting of 2 18" Back Widows, 2 15"/Horn combo Black Widows, a 1200 watt Peavey Amp, and a Peavey 6 pack Board. Also play djembe and vocals.

Light Rock, Acoustical, Ambient/DarkAmbient, House, Electronica. NO country.

So no one likes Iron Maiden.. they rawk :) They are my sanctuary, although some of the softer Chili stuff is nice to relax to.. namely Under the Bridge, Porclein, Paralell Universe, Scar Tissue.  Hoobastanks new song is nice to listen to also.

hehe...i dont know them THAT well, as they arent my favorite, they do know how to rock, and they are awesome, but i dont know any of the band members names.... i just listen to them

hmmm well i have not a freakin clue about the guitar stuff...sorry guys :( Although i do like some light rock and other such as stuff.

But I am into Rap, R&B, Hip-Hop, Light Rock, Smooth Jazz, *som* very, very little country

Yeah, rock is my main music. I dont wanna take the time to take guitar lessons, not enough time with AFROTC and school comin up. But they have nice tabs online, for virtually any song you can think of. Life-savers.

i used to play guitar but my amp broke so im saveing money up for a new 1. i have a gibson flying machine and a fender strat.
i like clssic rock like zepplin and ac/dc but i listen to some punk rock like the ramones i like some newer rock and some medal but not enuogh to know the band names
