There are several updates I've made to the website. Please let me know your feedback and bugs.
Changes:
-changed Unregistered splash page
-rearranged several blocks
-did away with PN News and RSS News (RSS may come back as a link)
-changed block //News to feed from News forum
-added new home page, history page, and media page
-set "blank" html page to home page (index page)
-"the angels" now points to the FA usergroup
-deleted out-dated links and changed language of current ones (i.e. "hub" to "home")
-shrunk Facebook block
-enabled user self-registration (ssshhhh)
Notes:
-"Registered User" group has different permissions on the site and forums. The big changes are no access to "//News", "./send_alert", or any of the member/news forums. This is subject to change.
Known bugs:
-Unregistered users are getting a module permission error at the bottom of index
-Splash page links are broken currently
Left to do:
-change thefuriousangels.com to redirect to followtheangel.org
-add old challenges to registered/member site
-finish APB site
-build entire SWTOR site
-take a look at forum ranks, group titles, etc. etc.
I told Boombye that he could register with the site. He's been wanting to get back in. I told him we'd talk about it after he registers. Just thought I would give people a heads up if you see him register.
Also, check out http://thefuriousangels.com/apb if you haven't done so. Still needs a good bit of work, but it's something...

The menu-bar is a little hard to read... would it be possible to make it more like the "The Furious Angels" at the top? Sorry to nit-pick...
Everything else is looking great!!
-
Agreed. I completely overlooked it until Ana mentioned it.
-
Also, that stuff is great and all, but pointless for recruiting purposes. Can you open up the History, media, and Bluepill forum up to the public?
-
I like it. Moving the login to the right side confused me for a minute..
the main menu up top I think if you tweak the colors because it blends intot he white background which makes it harder to read.

Firstly, there isn't a bluepill forum anymore. Secondly, all of that is open to the public - they just have to register first. Basically, they still don't get something for nothing. Once they register with us, they can see more about us. Until then, we use the APB and SWTOR sites to get their attention. We still want a little mystery.
I'll also work on the menubar. Thanks!

Call it whatever, do non-members have access to a forum?
-
Nevermind - I just made a test "new guy" account "FAFuse" and see the accesses for the current forum.
I like that others can get a taste of our site now.
-
Yes, registered users can read and post everything in "The Forum" category. Registered users can see the forums in the "Angels Only" category but cannot enter the forums, etc.
-
yeah, nice job T.
I made a change to my App page (http://www.lostlocalhost.com/otr/App/Register.asp) I created on my server. I had thought I had to post the thread for the person originally. I still may if they find my site first, but made a note for them to come here and validate the thread with a post...
-
All apps should be made on our forum because we will be using that to organize them and put them in the queue. If you want to do something separate to recruit, that's fine, but in the end they will still need to register and fill out our app on the forum.
-
Ok, I made the menubar dark and added a line.
-
I'm really liking the SWTOR logo and the APB stuff... Looks nice

The imagemap on the front page of the www.thefuriousangels.com still links to Darkfall.
If we are going to have people beginning to visit the website again, even if the websites for SWTOR/APB aren't done, we should remove that link?
