I have wiped our Text Alert database of all users except those who picked an actual username that could be verified. If you signed up for the text alerts and are not on the following list, you will need to subscribe again:

Heironymus
Tbone
Manicvelocity
Adad
Jeyk
Bellthazor
Erathaol

Make sure this time that you choose a username that shows up on the list of subcribers. Otherwise you'll just end up getting deleted from the database again. Captains and Lieutenants are highly encouraged to sign up for the text alerts! Remember, it will be used for major events only and perhaps a reminder for things such as interviews.


Also, I have made some more changes to the website. Most noticeably, if you log out, you will see that certain sections of our site are now accessible. It's very limited, but at least gives our unregistered visitors something to read. Feedback is appreciated.

Last time i had tried this it never sent me any notification on my phone =/

Just a reminder.. DO NOT REPLY TO THE TEXT MESSAGE ALERTS.. it sends it to everyone..

If you sign up for the text alerts, make sure you create an account as a user. For some reason, I'm seeing a random username instead of real usernames for new signups. I have two new accounts that registered in December that need to make usernames. These are the accounts:

9       2009-12-08 Tue 11:41 AM    User1DF54C   ***-***-1745
10       2009-12-10 Thu 11:02 PM    User15E46E   ***-***-7325

All I did was enter my number in the //Alerts box.  They sent me a text and told me to reply with Y to join FURIOUSANGELS.

I never even went to the www.textmarks.com site until today when I was trying to figure out how to set a username.
