I just reactivated my Eve Online account myself. You can find me under the name Xannder Phienyx. You can usually find me in the vicinity of Korsiki for the moment.....or Jita.

I see Manic and Fuse on every now and then. To be fair, because I can play EVE passively (only logging on to add a skill to the queue), I tend to only play it when I am done with other games or can't get enough people on for achievements. This partially due to a recent realization that I am not ready for 0.0 space. Now that I am finally able to set goals in EVE, I'm realizing just how much I really have to learn and how long it's going to take me to get where I want to be just to feel comfortable in basic ships doing basic things (roughly 2 years!). I'm just now able to dabble in more advanced fighting tactics and tech II modules and rigs (for pve experimenting only, much too expensive for pvp combat atm). I hate to say it but Zortarg was right about the learning curve for this game.
That said I'm hoping by the time 2012 rolls around I'll be an effective drone boat pilot with promise to one day pilot a carrier with a wing of fighters.
For those who are unaware, fighters are badass.

Speaking of low sec, two of the new storyline missions for gallente (only gallente for now) take you into specific low sec regions of space (as opposed to random spots), which is good for introducing a sense of urgency to the missions, but let me tell you, getting aggro'd by 8 cruisers and a buttload of frigates (including one tech II variant) while in low sec (constantly being probed and gate camped by gankers) does not make for an easy task while i'm still flying around in my destroyer :-p

I didn't know what else to do. I was the only one in the system until my dispatcher snuck up on me. The NPC pirates that came after me had some nice bounties on them. I made just under ten million ISK altogether in about three hours.

A player uses Gmod to convey the true scale of some EVE ships.
I knew the Megathron was big, but holy shit...
