"The official Lucasfilm event celebrating all things Star Wars".
It started yesterday in Orlando, and goes through Sunday.
I'm thinking about driving up tomorrow, and was wondering if anyone else was going, or if anyone is there already.
I'd love to meet the guests that are going to be there. George Lucas, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels (C3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett), Warwick Davis (Wicket), Jon Stewart (Hosting), Seth Green, Matthew Senreich, and Tom Root (All of Robot Chicken/Titan Maximum fame), Daniel Logan (young Boba Fett), Jake Llyod (young Anakin), and Ray Park (Darth Maul). That's just to name a few. Many other cast and crew will be there as well!

I'm also interested to find out if they're going to have any informaton or demos of SWTOR. :D

I would consider it if I could buy in at the Kid's One Day Pass rate, heh.

Star Wars™ Celebration V is the place to see everything Star Wars, including The Old Republic. It’s taking place in Orlando, FL from August 12th to the 15th.
Check out The Art and Writing of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ panel on Friday, August 13th from 2PM to 3PM, and Saturday, August 14th from 4PM to 5PM at the Digital Stage (Valencia A). Drew Karpyshyn (Principal Writer, BioWare), Hall Hood (Senior Writer, BioWare), Arnie Jorgensen (Lead Concept Artist, BioWare) and Clint Young (Senior Concept Artist (Environments), BioWare) will be discussing what goes into creating the art and story in Star Wars: The Old Republic, the upcoming story-driven massively-multiplayer online role-playing game in development by BioWare and LucasArts.
As an added bonus, Clint and Arnie will be creating an entirely original piece of concept art live during the panel, giving attendees a rare and exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the creative process. Don’t miss your chance to hear first-hand from the developers!
Also, to relax from all the craziness, we’re putting together a community event to celebrate our love of Star Wars with you. Meet The Old Republic developers Friday, August 13th and Saturday, August 14th from 5PM to 7PM at the Hoth Bar inside the convention center!

I didn't get to the SWTOR panel or the Hoth Bar.
Being a huge Star Wars fan, this was an amazing experience. I was there from around 2:00 until they closed up at 7:00, and I don't think I even saw half of what the event offered.
There were a ton of cool booths, and tons of people in costume. I've never been to a convention before. It's crazy that so many people from all over the world can converge on one place and instantly be friends because they share a common interest.
EDIT: After thinking that last statement over, I guess it's not so crazy. That's exactly what FA is.

Fail
I know. :(
If I would have had any idea about the scale of this thing, I would have been there earlier, and probably gone for more than one day.

Even more fail... While I saw standing at the LucasArts booth, watching people play The Force Unleashed 2 and Lego Star Wars 3, G4 interviewed a guy who had just played TFU2.

Another guy from G4 off to the side of the camera turned to me and asked if I had played the games yet, which I hadn't. I could have been on G4. :(
Even MORE fail. I was at the HerUniverse.com booth buying their Rebel Insignia necklace for my girlfriend, and Warwick Davis came up to talk to the people working the booth. I kept looking at him, because I wasn't sure if it was really him. I didn't speak to him. :(
